Yeah I guess that might be Boston's only chance honestly. I think a healthy LA, Anaheim or Chicago would absolutely murder Boston in the finals. Watching all the games in the east and most of if is slow, poorly defended, no talent hockey. It's pretty painful to watch.

Hell, I think the 9th or 10th place team in the West would beat the east Champs this season in a 7 game series.

You are entitled to your opinion, but if you think that Phoenix or Nashville would beat Boston, Montreal or Pittsburgh in a seven game series, my opinion is you are out to lunch.

I'm not gonna go through all the teams, but PHX beat the pens 3-1 and 3-2 this season. They could take MTL to 7 and at least put up a fight vs the Bruins, IMO.

Dunno about nashville, but the east is pretty brutal.

Ok, so the Yotes match up well against the Pens in the regular season...

I get the point that the east is not as good as the west, but I am having trouble with the assertion that the hockey being played right now is brutal, especially the MTL-Bos series.

I think there are a couple teams that are better than most that are out (St. Louis/ Colorado), but I'm enjoying the hockey and the drama, so I'm not going to complain.

It's good hockey in the sense that it's a close series between two heated rivals. But then I switch to the California series after and the difference in quality is like night and day.

I find both teams positioning to be off, their forwards look slow and a general lack of physicality from both sides. Don't get me started on the other series in the East. My God, that series is AHL quality bad.

Another title edit and bump as our protagonist puts the puck past Price! (As a teacher, I am a big fan of alliteration!)
