If Burke can pull off this signing I may forgive him if Cammy walks for free.

Yes please!!

It'd be interesting to see Gaudreau - Monahan - Van Brabant. They were a line at development camp last spring.

Question for the contract experts. If he signs a rookie max ELC and plays one game how much could his signing bonus be for the first year?

Why do I feel like if they ended up winning the Championship, he'd announce signing with the Flames asap.

Can the Flames sign an ATO but give Gaudreau Bear a major bonus?

Colborne and Monahan have been great together. I think you continue to roll with that.

100k can't buy happiness but it can bury the sadness of losing today's game way deep down.

That would work well too, Colborne has been playing a bigger game the last 20 or so games and Brabant came in right and away with physicality and a good active stick. I think having a big body who can move fast on a Gaudreau/Monahan line is going to be key and would like to see both those players get some time next year with these guys.
I have no doubt Johnny signs with this club, even if he does elect to finish out school.

I'd be very surprised if JG has to again go through all the pros and cons of going pro or not and "decide". The topic has been on his mind likely all season, and even more in the past few weeks. Sure, maybe has get things in order and has to decompress over the loss, and has a ceremony tomorrow, but I am thinking at this point he knows what he's doing, just has to deliver it properly.
And maybe he's saying that so he can escape the reporters much quicker and hop on the place with CC.
