Now two posters have mentioned Drouin for Cammy.

Where there's smoke there must be fire!

Thank you Rerun for that particular running gag of Drouin for Cammalleri. I'm sure we'll be seeing it long after he is traded away.

Oe thing I will bet, Cammalleri does not move until Moulson and Vanek do.

What two grown men do behind closed doors is none of our business.

Not sure what it has to do with the topic at hand.

Cammi will be first to go.

I wonder if Cammy would be a consolation prize for Pitts if Shero comes back from his Kesler hunt without a Kesler on his car roof.

But I'll predict one of PHX, LA, PIT ends up trading for Cammy. I'd say NJ, but they probably wouldn't offer anything Burke would bite on.

I'll say Cammalleri will be the first.

How does losing Butler as an UFA this summer make our team better now, or in the future?

The reason he would be traded is because he's an upcoming free agent, not because making trades is fun. Which is also the reason we may trade Stempniak and Cammalleri.

I love it when people just randomly "feel" something that is unlikely to happen.

There's no chance the Flames don't make at least one move at the deadline and likely at least 3 IMO.

If he doesn't re-sign we'd be losing Butler for nothing this offseason anyways. What is hard to understand about this?

Butler is an UFA. Smid and Wideman are not. Totally different scenarios.

I think the major move - Cammalleri in our case - would have to wait until the Vanek and Moulson situations get resolved first. Burke would want Cammy's value at his highest, which will be once Vanek and Moulson are sold off. Stempniak could be traded some time tomorrow as well.

Something like Butler for a 3rd, Galiardi for a 4th etc I can see happening before the deadline morning, but not Cammy.
