Either way this seems obvious, of course years later but at the time it was argued from here (CP) to Iraq, "Why We Did It". As one guy says in the program, it isn't about owning the oil, it's about controlling it.
Of course I'm talking about the invasion of Iraq and the double dealing Bush and his cronies did to make the American public buy in. This isn't news, we've been buying in since wars started. Edit: I guess with Canada not participating in the war our oil companies didn't get the choice energy reserves but are active in Iraqi, Kurdistan.
