I'm kinda in the same camp. Holmgren has successfully assembled a young, mean and strong hockey team that has been consistently difficult to play against and consistently entertaining to watch for fans.

Carter/Richards trade was necessary, I thought, based on some locker-room issues with drinking and discipline, was it not? And Pronger was the player that any NHL team would have wanted on their roster and all teams hated to play against. So, no blame on Holmgren for trying hard to keep him. If anything, the Versteeg trade was puzzling as heck to me; he is such a good player.

Should have happened a year and a half ago when we lost to NJ because Lavy wouldn't adjust. Glad he's gone, we have a young team that's too talented to be 0-3. Hope they respond tonight, at least it's the Panthers.
