I would agree purely because I just don't find myself to be attracted to brown women, but I can certainly see why someone would find her attractive. Not every "hot girl" has to be everyone's cup of tea. For instance, I'm not sure I understand the huge fuss over Kristen Hallet. Good looking girl for sure, and yes I have seen her in person a few times, but I'm not driven wild by her like some to seem to be.
Either way, I dont think the pageant is really just about finding the "hottest" girl in America.

Well it certainly isn't about their talents or ability to answer questions based on what they have shown in those categories recently.

Certain not the entire series of recent winners. Laura Kaeppeler is very nice looking and won two years ago.

Well I can't claim to be a big watcher of the Miss America pageant, maybe you are more well-versed. But I know I certainly can't dance like that. Perhaps you can and if so, I imagine 95% of CP would pay good money to watch you try.

As a Canadian I don't know where some of us get off on generalizing about an entire country that had a few people act as bigots.
Seems like a silly double standard to me.

It's both. But they're definitely not just picking the hottest contestant.

What a snobby remark! Pageants are so nice – they show smart and beautiful women with a lot of natural talent solving world's worst problems and wearing bikinis. People do like that kinda stuff. What are you gonna attack next? Honey Boo Boo? Or, the Kardashians?

It is so much easier to discriminate against people if you know that they are doing it to you.
Life is easier when hate is a two way steet.

I'm confused. A woman of Indian descent won. Aren't they the first Americans? Has everyone forgotten the Thanksgiving spirit?

You confused the Al-Qaeda Indians with the casino Indians.

Why??? Damn terrorist dancing! I think I heard her muttering Allahu Akbar during the performance.

She said Admiral Akbar. It was a dance she came up with, along with the lyrics, to pay tribute to Star Wars. She's a huge fan.
