next time a Caucasian woman wins this pageant I want to read angry comments about how they keep giving the crown to the descendants of European immigrants. that's what British beauty pageants are for! when are they finally going to give it to an aboriginal contestant and keep things in the homeland??

I think its an intersection of everyone believing other people care what they think, along with a self-selected group of people who care about things like pageants.
It's probably the perfect era of history and event for narcissism and racism to merge.
As a portion of mainstream society I'd imagine its a pretty small group.

There's been a muslim Miss USA before a few years back. An actual Muslim, not an Indian. (I know Muricans still can't tell the difference). The girl that Ricky Romero is dating/dated
Unless Miss America is more nationalistically American then Miss USA and it's a bigger deal I know see why this is suddently news.

I was once judge of the Penticton Peach Queen pageant. An Indian girl won the pageant, and there was criticism that she won not because she was the best candidate, but because of some kind of affirmative action bias. I thought she won fair and square on the merits.

Apparently all the idjits missed the fact that the woman passing on the crown was as white bread as it gets.
I like when the arsebites show themselves. Easier to stay away from, easier to mock, easier to know whom to feed to the zombies when the time comes. Although, perhaps they have a natural immunity to zombies....

She's American and won Miss America. Much ado about nothing. Good for her.

I've seen more then a few weirdo's in San Francisco either preaching god/armegedden stuff or Obama is a Muslim=terriorist a lot... maybe not as many crazies at the midwest but they do exist here for sure.
