Haha that reminds me when I was living in Victoria I saw a guy walking around with his kid on a leash. I must have done a quintuple take on that one but yeah, the kid was leashed up like a dog (the leash was around his stomach, not his neck). One of the funniest things I've seen.

So, while we're on the subject, where do you draw the line on your search for vengence? What if a 8 year old child "shoves" you, are you going to "shove" them back? You're comparing a child with a fully grown woman? No, I wouldn't hit a child who hit me because they don't know better.

But if a fully grown woman tells me to go back to my country and then initiates contact then she's going to end up on her behind. If she gets injured then she brought that on herself.

I'd never hit a woman or man first without them laying their hands on me. Nothing to do with her being a woman. Has everything to do with being told to leave my own country then being assaulted.

In your opinion of course. To me the pathetic people are the ones that never called out the woman for laying her hands on the man.

Just because some middle aged woman puts her hands on you and says something racist really dosen't mean that you can get all up in her grill and shove her down.

A cop is going to look at some young (I'm assuming young) bigger male who shoved over a lady and pretty much make the decision to at least charge you with assault.

A judge will look at the excuse that she yelled something racist and put her hands on me so I shoved her on her a$$ and laugh.

Plus it opens the way for a law suit when she complains that the shove caused grievous soft body tissue damage, post traumatic stress disorder, fear of strangers, fear of imigrants, the inability to sit on a toilet, the inability to work due to migranes and flashbacks and award her several 100's or thousands of your dollars.

Sure, if someone's a threat and has put you in physical danger, go nuts in terms of defending yourself, but shoving a old hag bonehead. that's just silly.

No that's really the opinion of most people. You have a unique skill of taking that title in pretty much every thread.

You don't get to hit people just because they hit you, even if they called you a bad name. This is something you learn as a child, or at least should have learned as a child. Would your parents be proud of you if you knocked that woman to the ground? Seriously, that's something a poorly adjusted 16 year old would do. That woman is disgusting on a number of levels, and she has no business getting physical, so why would you want to drop even lower than her?

Also, I would think that there is a proportional force argument here and a woman shoving you once and walking away doesn't necessitate you drilling her in the nose.

Now if she can over and started hitting you and wouldn't stop and you pushed her away and she fell down, that's a different story. No one is suggesting you should be allowed to be assaulted because it's a woman.

What they are saying is that being pushed gingerly by an old lady who then leaves you alone is not reason to hit her back.

To be clear, the same could be said about a male. You're basically only allowed to defend yourself with necessary force, not what you think they deserve.
