Defending yourself implies that there's a threat of harm. Does an overweight 50 year old woman pushing you present a threat of harm to you?

I don't know if you actually act in real life the way that you portray yourself here at times, but if so I won't be the least bit surprised when things take a bad turn for you. Justify it all you want, but if you were to shove some old woman and she hit the deck you can be damn sure you're the one who'd end up in cuffs.

This guy is following her around and videotaping her because her dogs are off leash? Settle down, Crime Dog Mcgruff.

They both come across as idiots in this video.

According to his YouTube comments, the dogs were rushing his wife who is afraid of dogs, and they typically walk the path specifically because it's supposed to be a leashed area.

People who let their dogs off leash in on leash areas are the worst. They always start acting like children when you ask them to put their dog on a leash, thanks buddy, even though I appreciate your dog trying to bite me while I'm running I'd like to avoid a trip to medi centre.

They also don't realise that responsible dog owners will purposely take their dogs with behavioural problems and dog aggressions to on leash areas so they can still walk them and not worry about incidents, nothing like seeing an unleashed dog run up to a dog on a leash and then the fight break out.

Nowadays I just straight up be a jerk when I encounter some idiot doing this, and tell them to put their ****ing dog on a leash.

And does the Chinese guy in the video pose a threat to the racist woman?

That's ok, it'll be worth it to me.

You see the shadows of a few people walk by in the video and the dogs paid them no attention what so ever, and that includes Crime dog Mcgruff doing the filming, so not sure I put a lot of stock into what that guy says. He's as much a db as she is.

I don't really care whether he posed a threat, my post was specifically directed at you and your idiotic attitude.

In no means do I support the lady's comments, but as far as I'm concerned, it's harassment to follow someone around like that video-taping them without their permission.
She should have her dog on a leash, but it's not as if her dog was causing the man any harm... The guy really needs to learn to pick and choose his battles.

Is it ok for a woman to hit a man in your mind?

According to his youtube comments after he was called out for being a jackass you mean.

Everyone in this video should be stripped of their citizenship and deported to somewhere terrible.

Anyone who uses their phone video camera in portrait mode should be sent to an internment camp.

You're honestly calling that assault? Pretty sure she just pushed the camera phone away no? You're starting to sound like an American now...

I'm pretty sure that any unwanted physical contact, can be considered abusive or battery.

Something like that.

So what's following someone around, filming them unwantingly called? Harassment? Two wrongs don't make a right, but this guy is a complete DB himself...

I have no idea what it's called, and I agree with you. The dude is being a bit of a DB. It's kind of no different than paparazzi that follow celebs with cameras in their faces. As long as you're in a public setting, you can be video taped and your picture can be taken.

I was just commenting that any unwanted physical touch could be considered assault, abusive or battery.

When did they enact the law saying you couldn't film in a public place? I'm all for shaming bad dog owners and to top it up this person is racist and apparently will physical touch someone even though she knows she's being videotaped.

Are you being intentionally dense?

My point, and it was pretty clear, is that your position that a physical response is justified simply because someone shoves is idiotic. You talk about defending yourself, when the fact is that you don't care about defending yourself at all, you care about acting like a tough guy. Nobody has the right to hit anyone for any reason beyond defending themselves, including feeling that your pride has been damaged by being shoved by an overweight woman in her 50's. Keep up with that attitude and see where it gets you.

There is no law, but would you not at least question someone you didn't know that was video-taping you without your permission? She is a racist clearly, and I'm not justifying what she said, but that guy is a complete tool. He's creating unnecessary drama. Phone bylaw services and let them do their job.

You're totally serious aren't you? You would hit a woman if she did as much as push you?

I knew you had issues but I had no idea they ran this deep.
