Cant wait. Don't let the door hit you on the way our Sarich. Probably good for a second round pick, considering ears got 2 of em.

Ummmm no. He's been a great pro and physical presence on the blue line. Might not have been the greatest player, but he played hard we need more guys like him.

I'm good with people wanting a Sarich trade, but what's with the "don't let the door hit you" comments? Shouldn't those be reserved for people who have wronged you? Sarich did nothing but give it his all every season here. He might not be very good anymore, and we might be better off without him, but why the angry goodbye?

Just remember that those of us on this board calling for a rebuild two or three seasons ago were hounded as downers. This forum - this franchise - could use a big dose of realism.
We won't have any idea how our draft picks have turned out until they stick, or don't, in the NHL. That's not carping negativity - it's reality.

Sarich has played 16 of 33 or so games, about half, it's just what happens when you go into the year with that many one-way Dmen. He still has shown he has fuel left in the tank, would be a solid addition for any team with playoff aspirations.

thats the story for all the players in Calgary. But when sarich has made the playoffs he's always turned it up a couple notches.

The fourth period is junk.
I really need to start a website and link them to CP and let people eat up all the lies and BS. And make profit.

I think there is a pretty significant difference between the two scenarios. The blow-it-up crew was proven right and it would have been prudent to have started this process a couple of years ago, but do you really think we are going to be regretting trading a D who was in the lineup for fewer than half the games for a 3rd round pick?
It's needless pessimism in my opinion.

Well the good part about having a lot of bad defensemen is that there is inexplicably a market for them at the trade deadline every year.

Sarich shouldn't have ever, ever been a healthy scratch on this embarrassingly soft D. Way better team with Sarich in.
