Outside of his size, physicality, and peskiness, you're probably right.

Obviously I'd like to see him succeed and lock down a fourth line spot to do just that, but it's tough to do that when he's been having a tough time cracking the Heat lineup.

He was really honing that part of his game last year and outside of the diving, was doing a good job of agitating.

There was a stretch of games where he really got under players skin, that San Jose game against Joe Thornton stands out to me.

agree i thought Jones was going to become that player but it hasn't happened. Ever since that broken foot he hasn't returned to that pest type guy. Even in that PHX game when got his foot broken he was tenacious.

I watched a few games by Janko - all I can say is, he is not ready for NHL, yet. Skilled yes, but just not ready.

It would be funny to see him play a game, then go take 5 years to develop, then break into the NHL. He would be one of the longest serving Flames in his rookie year
