I hope Backlund isn't out very long.

Kid was having his break out season FFS.

Frustrating but a win is a win.....happy for that!

Can't believe Backlund had less than 8 minutes, and less ice than Comeau, something is not right with that.

other than the Boston fiasco, Irving has given the Flames a chance to win every game

this was his first full game since mid-november; he should only get better

Nice win!! Hudler was awesome again. Glad to see Cervenka get his first. Glencross is the new Jokinen, how many posts has he hit this year? That goal would have been the highlight of the night.

I wouldn't mind seeing what Danny Taylor has against Vancouver.

Good work boys. Keep it going!!

Stupid Kerr gave me a heart-attack the entire final minute, but I actually didn't mind the elongated 'Scoooooooooore' to finish.

Anyways, pathetic start to OT.

But then the big boys came out and stuck it to me.

I have no problem with this.

PS. uh, BACKLUND?? what's the dealio there? I thought he would come back, didn't look that hurt right after the play. Me no like the smell of this.

Huzzah

Can't wait to get either Backlund or Cammy back. Hopefully both. Having the excess is always better than Comeau seeing any general ice time. I've tried to do what I can in seeing his good side.

But clearly I had something in my eye. He needs to stay on the 4th/PK.

Backlund took a high hit in the slot infront of Bobrovsky early in the 3rd or late 2nd... cant remember. But he was getting some shifts with Hudler and Cervenka for a bit and those 3 were dominating.

I think you go back with Irving. He wasn't great but he has more to show then that.

Damn yeah i just realized that. That's weird, I was watching but didn't hear or see it, but I was watching the Columbus feed so maybe that's why.

Sounds like Backlund took a puck to the side of the knee, probably a deep bruise.

Mike Rogers saying that he thinks Mikael Backlund will more than likely be back in the lineup on Saturday. I think he's completely speculating though.
