I like cowperson for the most part, however I do wish he would engage in debate more often.

Lately, he tends to make a controversial/bold post in a thread, which attracts responses and should open up for some discussion, only to never respond in that thread again.

I asked him about it in one thread after he did just that, and he explained that giving your opinion takes two seconds, while defending your opinion takes too long and he's busy. Which is fine, I don't doubt he's busy, we all are. It's just a little dissapointing is all, especially after a controversial post.

I have to agree with him. The 6 posts I made and put great thought to took far too long to type, correct, fact check, correct grammar, and post. That's prime pornography time I'm wasting on the PC! Now I even have a dog in the house that I could take a picture of!

Best overall poster - Rubecube. Because it turns out we have something awesome in common. I can't devulge, but he wins best overall poster because of it.

funniest poster - MrMastadonFarm

biggest a-hole poster - Transplant99. Don't get on the opposite side of an argument with this guy. Also, he's where the saying "Wow, just wow" originated. Bonuspoints for that.

participant poster - I don't want to name him because he's in the sin bin, so he can't defend himself.

best foreign poster - Gotta go with PIMking on this one. He's from the south, and has to put up with quite a bit of negativity towards his beliefs and insults thrown at Americans from the south. But he always takes the time to patiently respond with well thought out, rational rebuttles, instead of slinging the mud right back. Also, offers a lot of opinions and content to the site.

best mod - IIF. You don't hear many warnings and lectures from him, and like referees, the best ones are the ones you don't notice.

best photographer poster - Regulator75. Dude shoots up the Calgary area like a gangsta. What else can you say? Jayems is also amazing, but seems to go into photograph hibernation from time to time.

best poster that that has "flames" and "win" in their username - flameswin12. Look it up, it's an actual account.

best gay poster - mrcboicgy. If I was gay, he'd be my number one bum buddy.

best rookie poster - HockeyNinja. I know he's a returning poster, so not really a rookie, but after finding out that he was Blairwitch? I mean, c'mon. He's like night and day from when posted under his old username. So the transformation to a really solid poster is enough to give his new account the nod in this catagory.

Sureloss for news, Miss Teeks for tweets. PMM is a gooder. Most of the posters who were in the All time draft were splendid to draft with. Very knowledgeable hockey fans and there were no real problems between anyone.

My favorite poster who comes out of nowhere and kills a thread till its dead is moon. I don't hate or even care to argue its just entertaining to see the guy go to work on people.

White tiger for keeping the dream alive in the You love, You lose thread.

And CP for being an internet oasis of All things Flames and everything else.

I'm not a rookie though. I've been on here for a little bit more than two years so i don't really fit into this category. If someone should win this award i say it should be Senator Clay Davis or saskflames69 (minus him being responsible for the closing of one of the best threads on here)

I can't remember where it was or who it was, but does anyone else remember when that one guy just randomly accused SK69 of a being middle aged man posing as a teenage boy, out of nowhere, prompting SK69 to post a pic of his drivers licence? That was one of the weirdest things I've ever seen on this site.
