I didnt think Frasier was as bad as many on here did,,,,though he had two completely boneheaded moments last year...and some other questionable decisions.

That being said....finding good safeties in the CFL game is a difficult thing. So he may only be re-signed until someone better comes along and wins the job from him.

Finding good young safeties is tough, and Eric is on a good development path.

I don't know if this is cool but we did have a great interview with Eric Fraser on our radio show through our site earlier this year where he talked about his future sang his college song and we taught him the safety dance

Its about half way down the page

http://www.cflhorsemen.ca/2012.html

We also interviewed a lot of other players including Lewis, Chevy, Mace, Butler, Tsoumpas, Butler, Paredes and Dales and others

Mods if this isn't cool for me to do please feel free to delete

Huff has had a great offseason until this Fraser, i hated absolutly hated. Possibly the worst Safety in the entire CFL.

Nevermind how terrible his coverage is. He refuses to make a damn hit.
Oh Huff how could you do this.

Please some unkown NCAA safety come along in training camp and beat Fraser out.

Nooooooooo!!!! I sure hope this guy change his game and don't play scared all the time. I really like to see the young Keenan McDougall take the safety spot. He is much faster and can cover.

On the other story, Arjei Franklin retired a season too late. He should have retired before last season. He was slow and drops the ball so much. Hopefully Anthony Parker is healthy all season so he can play more now that Franklin is gone.

I definetly would not say worst in the CFL, there were a ton of reports that BC wanted Fraser bad and I think it's worth nothing Fraser played very well in the playoffs. I think he had some poor games earrly on, got singled out by the TSN panel and people have that stigma every since.

Worth noting too, Fraser is a non import so they don't really have the option of replacing him with an import free agent becuase they need that non import spot and they don't have another non import that can start, at this point. McDougal might be ready, but if he isn't the Stamps would be in big trouble with their ratio.

No biggie, at worst he can be traded if McDougal sevrely outplays him at the camp, he does have value.

Need to get Bulcke signed.

Calgary signs former Raymond Comet and UofC Dino QB, Dalin Tollestrup: http://www.stampeders.com/article/to...up-signs-feb08

Was CIS Rookie of the Year with the Dinos, then went on a two year Mormon mission, and then played as a backup WR/DB at BYU. Could be an interesting non-import prospect -- he's listed as a WR.

Was also wondering -- any word on Demetrice Morley coming back this year? He had a good rookie year in 2011, then got injured and was out for most of 2012. Would like to see him back in 2013 -- he's a big hitter and a playmaker.

Shouldn't be back. For all the big hits and plays he make, he makes an equal amount of boneheaded plays, missed assignments and stupid penalties.

Randle can handle that roll. Maybe not as many big plays, but more consistency

Well, as a rookie, perhaps that is to be expected. With this being essentially his third year in the CFL, perhaps he's learned how to harness some of that raw talent. I guess we'll see in camp.

Fun fact: Morley was the 5th ranked HS prospect in 2005. Number one was Mark Sanchez

As bad as Fraser was every other team in CFL had equally bad safeties.

It is a bad year for safeties and it could be worse we could have had that god awful Butler in Sask.

@vickihallch: Drew Tate inadvertently let's it slip that the stamps have apparently re-signed Stanley Bryant.

@SUNIanBusby: Stamps will resign Stanley Bryant shortly, leaving only Mark Dewit and Brian Bulcke to hit free-agency #cfl

Stamps need Bryant and Dewit back in the mix.

I will agree with you on Stanley Bryant but I totally disagree with DeWitt. The guy couldn't hack it with this team. They played him as a starter and was making so much mistakes. They played him as a backup and still the same. I don't even think he played in the last 4-5 games at all.

As for the free agent players available. I agree with some that the Stamps should go after Solomon Eliminiam but I am pretty sure he'll be asking for lots of money and that would put the Stamps out. I don't think Huf will spend lots of money on free agent this season.

Didn't know where to put this but Joffrey Reynolds has been found guilty

http://www.tsn.ca/cfl/story/?id=416808

He's rapidly becoming the typical cautionary tale of pro athletes, he's broke and from the sounds of it basically homeless. He's now a convicted felon who's probably facing some jail time and then will be tossed out of the country.

For all of his accomplishments he can likely kiss his hall of fame and wall of fame appointments good bye.

Haha, I ran into Joffrey and Mark Calixte at the Whiskey about seven years ago. Calixte was super nice, and then I turned to Joffrey and asked if he played for the Stamps and he pulled a Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

He tore off your head and jammed it into a basket.

Cause that would be awesome.
