Calgary Stampeders@calstampeders

A Taylor-made signing: Exciting kick returner/receiver remains with Stamps http://tinyurl.com/apazd2t #calstampeders #CFL #YYC

Quote:
“Larry is an exciting player and he has been a tremendous asset for us on special teams since he joined the Stampeders in 2011,” said Hufnagel. “His contributions on offence are also very valuable and I’m pleased that he has agreed to continue his career here.”
Quote:
“I’m glad to be remaining with the Stampeders,” said Taylor. “My family and I have really enjoyed being in Calgary the past two years and that’s why I wanted to stay here. This is a great team and a first-class organization.”

When you looked at the potential Stampeders that could have went FA, Huff was able to resign this the key players.
Mace
Peredes
McDaniel
and now Taylor.

Fantastic off season.

Sounds like the Bryant era is done.

Calgary Stampeders ‏@calstampeders Stamps release Romby Bryant prior to Feb 15 free-agent deadline in order to give him more time to seek opportunities with other teams

^^ could see that coming a mile away. Bryant was no longer a threat at his position.

Out of those remaining Stamps' Free Agent, Bulcke is the only one I am hoping Calgary will re-sign. We all know Romby Bryant is gone and as much as I like him, the writing was on the wall for him last season. Besides I like to see what Maurice Price and Joe West can do with more playing time. Safety Eric Fraser I am hoping will be gone as soon as the Free Agency starts. The guy is useless and playing scared all the time. Please Huf...DO NOT RE-SIGN ERIC FRASER!!

Price and West either or will replace Romby. I'm not worried. Stamps have plenty of depth at WR.

We really need to add on D, we need a MLB. Simpson sucks and can't cover anyone. We need more speed, I think Mayo showed lots and we can move Raymond back to defensive back.

The offense will be fine, Mo Price is the real deal.

Weren't there any other options available?

Calgary Stampeders head coach and general manager John Hufnagel is pleased to announce the re-signing of non-import safety Eric Fraser.

Is Jason Armstead still around as well? I thought he was terrific in relief of Taylor when LT got injured.
