Too bad there was no helmet cam POV, although Im sure it was a little too fast to transmit. We'll probably see something later on where he's slammin back a pack of redbull in mid-air.
I'm glad it was in low-res when he was ragdoll-ing. Thought he lost it there.

Just before that you could hear him breathing, then they must have had a feed where you couldn't hear him breathe. That kinda freaked me out, that's when I thought it was over..
Nope. He manually deployed it. If he lost consciousness it would deploy at the safest minimum level.
Yea... even commercial skydivers have this safeguard.
When I did a 15,000 tandem jump, that was my first question: "If you croak on the way down, what cord do I tug on?"
Maybe not as flashy, but I think whats also amazing about this is that they knew the precise place where he was going to land, and have a video crew and photographer there within seconds of him landing. Thats kind of amazing in itself I think.
