This is one where the danger is definately not as readily apparent, but the potential for serious injury is still very high.
36 grit "takes no prisoners" if you happen to slip and aren't ready for it. Hell, even a fresh 80 or 100 belt will make a real mess in a hurry.
And yes...I'm willing to bet that really sucked.
