I just want to thank everyone who has sent PM's and supported me in this thread. Sometimes it blows me away how people I only know in a digital medium, can seem to be more caring and supportive than my friends IRL.
When I lost my sister in 1995, I was pretty young. I was just a 21 year old knob that didn't know sh1t from shinola. And our family had to grieve fast, as her two little kids were at an age where they really didn't understand and the number one priority was to make sure they got on the right track, and to make their lives as normal as possible.
This is so different. I have two unbelievably loving parents, that raised a second set of children, made sure everything was perfect, no expense was spared, retirement was sacrificed for 15 years......and then this.
There becomes a point in some peoples lives where pain and tragedy is too much to bear. I fear they will not be able to bounce back from this. You can only take so many knock out punches before you simply just can't get up. I have no words for them. I can make no sense of this myself. For a parent to lose not only a child, but the child of that child is so backwards, wrong and cruel. Statistically I would imagine they are in the 1 in a million category for people that have had to deal with something like this.... twice. They were literally months away from starting the life of happy old people, and now, they... we bury another one of our own.
Even though they never would come on here in a million years to see this as my dads interaction with technology pretty much ends with yelling at his iPad for opening the movie on Netflix instead of allowing him to read the synopsis first. I want this known and said publicly, even though have said it to them before.
Mom, Dad.... Gail and Zygmont as you are known to your friends. You are amazing people, and incredible parents. You did everything right, and more than almost any person would have done, and sacrificed more than anyone could have ever been asked to. When people ask me who is my role model, or hero. Or who would I sit down and have lunch with I had the chance, it is you mom and dad, even though every Sunday I get the chance to sit across the table from you anyway. Do not blame yourselves for anything. You do not deserve this, and I would take away every iota of pain and bear it for you if I could. You deserve to be old and happy, you earned that right tenfold, and you have to find the strength to live for yourselves, to bask in the fruits of your labours however you can, as hard as that may be. I love you mom and dad.

I really dislike it when bad things happen to good people. I feel for you and your parents.
I am sorry for your loss.
This serves as an exaple to cherish the moments with your love ones.
Everyone takes them for granted until its too late.
Take care and may god bless.

No words but be strong for everyone else around you. As tough as that is you always seemed like the one who would be one of the strongest beams that holds up the house (sort of like you are here).

You just send in the documents and they decide what they are going to do if anything at all. Seems like they really don't want to help. Any help is appreciated, or if anyone has a connection, or works for AC and can just hook me up with some sort of deal, or the right person to talk to, please let me know.

I'm sorry for your loss. That's rough.
I've been in a similar situation looked into the bereavement fare. You have to buy the ticket first and apply for the discount after the fact. IIRC, It's 30% off the ticket price (or was at that time, about 3 years ago). But if you take any sort of a discount price or seat sale, etc, they won't give it to you. It has to be 30% off the full price. I happened to get lucky and find a last minute price and they wouldn't give me the bereavement fare, but the discount I got worked out to about the same anyway.

Condolences.
But don't despair about your parents. Believe me, from what I've seen from my own recent tragedies, you'll be surprised what people can live through and come out of. Sure, they may not ever be the same, and same goes for you, but you can and will get through it. People are very resilient beings.
