Seriously dude, what were you expecting? A group hug? A pat on the head? "Now, now Vic. Did that mean man hurt your feelings?"
So some idiot decided to be ironic and acted like a typical Canucks fan. Was it really so tramatic that you had to jump onto a rival message board and whine about it?

Yeah and as a Canucks fan, I say there's no reason (other than almost causing an accident) to flip anyone the bird.

Well I had a canucks fan throw a bottle of beer at me in downtown victoria for me wearing a flames jersey, and I didn't go off running to online forums to complain about it.....
grow up, its sports, you just look pathetic complaining about this

Is anyone else thinking of taking a couple of days off work to just aimlessly drive around the Southland area of McLeod, looking for a guy in a Canuck's jersey?

I remember back in 03/04 I was driving close to 37th ST and 17th Ave (I see we're giving locations now) during the first round of the playoffs. Two guys were walking down the street wearing ugly Bertuzzi jerseys.
I honked at them, they looked over, and I flipped 'em the bird... they laughed and flipped me off.
I don't really think of the "finger" as all that offensive... sometimes it can just mean "I disagree with your opinion/course of action".
you must be one of those upper class aristocratic vancouver fans that don't normally encounter these situations. Did you say "Well, I never!" when you got flipped the bird, then proceeded to adjust your monocle?
