I think Buffalo is real good partner to trade Hanifin. They have 3 young Ds so adding Hanifin should set their blue line. May be 13th plus F prospect for Hanifin?

Johnson would be solid. That said, if Dallas is hesitant to move off a 20 year old C who has already scored 24 in the show (more of a "sure thing" in that he's already performed at the highest level), is a Stankoven package a viable, preferable option?

I'd rather Seguin. And thats saying something, since he's on the books until 2027 as opposed to Benns 2025.
If they want to send some dough out, they add Grushnikov too.

The account on twitter (I know) who mentioned the 8.9 x 8 for lindholm has said that things have gone unusually quiet and they don't know why. Speculated that we'd swapped contract numbers with toffoli and weren't far away (he wants term).

Not certain but I think Dallas would have to add more for that, right? Benn has a terrible contract and is becoming more of a liability to his team. Dallas does not have a 2023 first round pick so it would have to be another prospect. Johnston + Stankoven + Benn for Lindholm? Sounds like too much but that Benn contract is a bit of a boat anchor.

If this year's UFA is not good, we need to try trade Kadri for Dman, and re-sign Lindholm for long term. And trade Hanifin, Toffoli, Tanev for draft picks and prospects and some cap dump for 1 year.

It’s only one more year after this. He’s coming off a 78 point season.
If we got him and Johnston for Lindholm, it kinda satisfies everyone.

I'd take Benn and Johnson for Lindy.
You're not going to get a better young player then Johnston in a trade.
Benn, although not worth his current cap, could still be a useful player
