Knoblauch announcing that he will miss at least another two weeks of action. That isn’t a very promising update, though if that winds up being the minimum time missed, he could still return late in the regular season. That would give him at least a few games to try and get up to speed with his new teammates. It’s far from ideal, but the best-case scenario for a trade that may end up being regretted.

Hope isn’t a strategy! It’s amazing, literally two games ago we were regaled with tales of oilers stepping up and filling in.

One game ago it was how tough the Oilers were but none of them pursued rantanen.

And now we have a scheduled loss, with skinner, Mavi, and Pissy likely getting ripped at an AI in Cabo, and not even watching the game because “we weren’t playing.”

Do you think that the snow at Leduc international will delay their flight home?

Outside of the howls, the Flames game presentation has been vanilla for years. They need to spice it up.

Would be hysterical in a blowout. Line up a clip of Chalmers berating Skinner as he's pulled too.

Even better would be an additional “skinner” after each goal…an accumulator!

3 goals against gets 3 “skinners!” Back to back to back; 8 goals against would be 8 “skinners!”

The best would be when skinner gets pulled…knobby is onscreen with the “skinner!” voiceover and the screen changes to show skinner skating off.
