Oilers in on all the sharks castoffs. Jimbo Matheson softening up the unwashed masses via twitter for a press box sitting healthy scratch Klostin at $2 million cap hit. Unwashed all over it.
Every once in a while one of them surprises and asks what assets will be required…but ignore the cap hit and the “las Vegas like” trade deadline warchest where there will be no money left.

Oilers with their usual baby-soft schedule. So far this season they've only played 6 games against playoff-calibre teams. And in those games they're 1-5.

including 3 games against the Preds who are absolutely garbage to start. Im sure they'll figure it out now that they get no more games against the No Goods. Who schedules 3 games against one team in the first month of the season??

If they're going for it, they might as well empty the reserves.
Garbage

With NHL permission, the Oilers bench emptied after the 1,000th point.
So this pathetic franchise went to the league and got special permission to allow everyone to come onto the ice to celebrate with McDavid. Seeing at its not a common occurence and the team was proactive about asking permission, did they tell players that they had to do it?

Will be sweet if that twit never wins a cup, let alone as an oiler. Hard to respect that level of vanity and self-importance in a team game.
Yes, they really did that. The whole team came on the ice and celebrated like they won in overtime. It was a point on a goal that made it 1-1 in the 2nd period.
Most embarrassing franchise in sports, it should have been a delay of game penalty.

The 98 others before him didn't need a bench clearing celebration, they put their heads down and worried about the game and saved that for the appropriate time- after the damn game.
I realize that it's more the oilers doing than mcdavid's, but it's still embarrassing.
