If Gausman stays in like the Ms just kept their pitcher in, it’s still 1-1 because there is no PB.

Less than 70 pitches and he gets pulled? Bad call, again, by Schneider.

So the game the Jays lost to the Yankees I had to leave half way through to go to hockey. Today's game same thing. Right now only game 6 lines up where I have hockey half way through

Man, I hate when pitchers walk or give up first batter hits.

Especially when the Jays bats have gone silent.

Varland gets out of it after that ball was just a few centimetres from leaving the park. Need some hits now!

I'm still so annoyed about the Gausman pull for Little. Like wtf?!. Offense, can you please come back and win this so that that isn't a narrative for the evening?

Also caught a break with a missed ball call on the 3-1 pitch

That isn’t the narrative
Or should not be
The narrative is the jays cold bats against a meh starter

It could be me but I just don't feel the emotion this game compared to the Yanks energy. Odd, even as a fan.

Ok into the bullpen now.
How about a bunt from Clement?

Edit: Or a first pitch lazy pop out. Either way.

Jays approach at the plate has been very, very poor tonight. Lots of early in the count “hope” swings that have been easy quick outs.

I totally agree and seems like the jays have lacked intensity

It’s hard to tell, but I don’t think the Jays are cheating.

There’s a chance the mariners are better than the Yankees.

Maybe the worst thing that happened, especially a team listening to their own press about being an offensive juggernaut after the Yanks, was a first batter HR. Maybe figured they all were going to be fine after a Springer Hr and then a walk and have just fallen asleep and dominated by the 5th starter for Seattle.

Santander with the other hit and the one closest to the next hit says it all.

At least Siddel has the guts to say Gausman came out too quick.

Ugh the jays innings are flying by. Making life real easy on the Mariners pitchers swinging on every first pitch it seems. Credit to their pitchers too I guess, yuck.
