Bats gotta wake up now, we’re always going to need more then one run to win the game

Polanco hits .300 vs lefties

It doesn’t even make sense from an analytics perspective

WTF was the thinking

How quickly a strong performance by Gausman has turned into a nightmare. Would loved to have been a fly on the wall when it was discussed weather they pull Gausman. His pitch count wasn't that high and he could have finished the inning.

There is never an excuse to pull your ace, who has only given up 1 run, and 76 pitches, through 5 2/3. Dumbest thing I think I've been seen.

They are down 2-1
Not sure it’s a nightmare

Its the whole 3rd time through the lineup thinking.

Gausman was on a short leash once anything went wrong.

Let's see how 3rd time through deals with Miller.

Which is kinda dumb
This one is on the bats for not getting to a mediocre starter on short rest

To me it's a nightmare as the Jays bats have gone silent. We had opportunities to expand the lead but couldn't get runners across home plate.

Taking your ace out of the game and not letting him finish the inning. There will be questions about that should the Jays lose.

We’ve had 1 baserunner since the 1st! Not a lot of
Opportunities !

The way that the bats have looked this game 2-1 seems like an insurmountable lead.

That's my point. Not getting the hits or putting men on base. Wasted opportunities.

One hit since the lead off HR. That’s ugly.

Yep. Hitters look like a shell of who they were against the Yanks and the manager is managing scared. 2-1 deficit makes sense.

Yet the Jays lead the league in late game comebacks. Hoping and praying this is one of the games
