Dominance by Cliff Lee again.

After seeing the manager the last 2 game make countless trips to the mound to get right-handed and left-handed pitchers, it must be nice to sit back and watch his ace like the rest of us!

As Jim Rome said the other day...Cliff Lee = man.

The Yanks struggled against Lee all year. Abysmal, just flat out bad against that guy.

Rangers got lucky in the 8th there after a ton of stupid pitching.

Bump. Can't believe the Rangers made it out of the 8th.

They probably shouldn't have. Swisher was technically hit by the pitch, though it was only as hard as it takes to knock Luongo over: it barely brushed his uniform.

Can't see this Texas team being beat at all.
Phillies and Giants can't hit worth beans.

And two bombs in the top of the 9th. From potentially tied to a seven run lead. Nice swing.

The Yankee fans made it easy again to cheer against them.

#1- The dbag the caught the Cano homer on the possible interference call and then went on to taunt the RF.

#2- The 3 suits sitting to the right of home plate. It's the freaking playoffs, and on a night when they couldn't even sellout, it just makes me think the only fans that can afford tickets anymore to yankee games are corporate losers.

It could have all been over if the Tejanos could hold a lead in game 1. I'll only be happy when the Jankees are done and dusted.

There are actually lots of realtively affordable seats at Yankee Stadium, I mean this is NYC so I emphasize the 'relatively'. The problem is the area that's most predominant on TV is the $2000 seats, which are filled with people who really aren't there for the game. At least the old stadium had a mix of corporate and die hard fans in those seats. One of many reasons the new stadium sucks.

Giants have the best pitching staff in MLB. They only need 1-2 runs to win games.

While probably true is the Giants pitching staff that much better than the Yankees or Rays pitching staffs? The Rangers hit those guys for fun!

And you're not getting 2 runs against Cliff Lee who will probably pitch 3 games in the World Series since he'll be rested if Texas wraps this series up tonight.

I heard the exact same thing about the Phillies and Halladay.

Both the Giants and Rangers are streaking at the right time. I'm less worried about the Rangers' offense and more worried about the Giants offense being able to hit anyone - good pitching rotation or not.

More reasons to hate sportsnet. Even with Sportsnet One and Sportsnet West I will miss the first hour of the game today because I don't have all the regional networks, and Sportsnet west is joining it in progress.

I just have to believe with momentum on their side and the way the way they've man handled the Yankees bats for the most part, that this series ends today.

The only good thing about this for you, is you get to miss a couple of segments with Greg Zaun. I agree though, it's absolute bush-league by Sportsnet. They are truly a horrible organization, just terrible decision making.

Phillies not playing smart. They finally get some hits and run into outs.

Not sure Ruiz should have been sent home, I would have taken 1st and 3rd one out.
Then on the throw to the plate, Victorino didn't take 2nd.

4 singles in one inning and only one run scored so far.
