I'm back from vacation and will either be playing today after work or when I get back from the Flames game tonight.

Passing this along from my community manager:
Quote:
Patch is in the works: http://forums.ea.com/mboards/thread....81475&tstart=0
We will continue to ban players who have been cheating as we have been doing for the past month. Though we may not ban a complete team, individual players are being banned for exploiting a number of different cheats, most notably the pause and attribute glitches.
Though some may find this unfair, EA SPORTS reserves the right to discontinue online service to users who unfairly exploit glitches in the game.

On the PS3 network, my club played a team called "Les Invicibles" and we lost 20-0. The puck would be on our stick for about 2 seconds, stolen and then in the back of our net, over and over again. We got 4 or 5 shots I believe. All the players were insanely fast with perfect shots. Definite hack team....computer goalie as well.

There are glitches in the PS3 Version it makes the online experience not enjoyable to an extent... meaning that there are ridiculous glitches in the computer goalie online that I have been on a 86 game winning streak by scoring goals the SAME way everytime and there is no way to stop it. This results in many players messaging me after game saying I'm a cheater and I have no skills... I just reply that complain to EA for not paying attention for these flaws that the online computers are programmed. Therefore, I quit NHL 09 till they fix these problems...

couldn't you just man up and play fair like the rest of us?
additionally, in the eashl/community games, you get to play against human goalies who don't hav those same faults...

Sly- If you quit exploiting cheeser goals constantly, then maybe people wouldn't get upset. EA really needs to fix a few of the super common ways to score.
Also guys, my router's on the fritz. I'll be out until I have time to fix it. I'm sure you miss my cherry picking!

Yea, man i hate those really simple goals to score. I'd prefer to win 2-1 with a good team effort than 6-0 with the same goal scored over and over again.

Heck, I've lost some close games that have been great, because they were clean- no cheeser goals, and we both scored in a variety of ways! When you get an opponent like that, that's fun!

Hey man its a problem you can't avoid... A LOT of people abuse it which makes me frustrated, all of the high ranked players I have played use these glitches to the full advantage... plus even with "fair" one-timers the goalie goes down in a unorthodox way all the time, opening the net up... I'll be waiting for NHL 2010...

You're right. My OT winner I previously posted is an example. The goalie reacts to the shot soooo early!

Nice goal...
Just wondering on the replay how do you make it go slower for when you save the video?
