I'm on the positive side of the Sharangovich trade, but "at least" is a stretch.

It's in line with market value at its ceiling, and that's what we're hoping for.

We can't be too eager to give Conroy credit before he's earned it in his new role.

However, body language is a part of meta-verbal but meta verbal can include other things as well. Either way as a new member I wasn't expecting so many of these threads to get derailed over petty crap.

Some days there are posters out for blood, and you can tell.

Not sure if they had a bad day or something and need an internet random to rag on, but usually the posters firing shots don't take #### this seriously.

Hope they get it out of their systems for tomorrow so we can have some civil discussions around the picks to come.

But ha... probably a pipe dream.

It would be nice if we had the capacity to just agree to disagree around here, rather than going back and forth trying to get the last dig in, which goes on until one forgets to pay their internet bill, gets too distracted by real life or passes away.

Pretty sure I forget the arguments/vendettas I had with any specific user after a week of not engaging. Probably because it doesn't really matter.

I may be a new user but I've been coming to this site for sureloss updates and flames fan reactions to trades and players for years. Just finally old enough to have a dgaf attitude and put in my two cents. I have yet to come across the alien convos hahaha

It's been a bit of a bad news offseason for the Flames, to put it mildly. It's very easy, and common, for fans of opposing teams to drop by in periods like this to poop on a team down in the dumps.

New users pooping on the team are rightfully suspected of not being real Flames fans until proven otherwise.

I don't know if that's fully deserved in your case but that's why you're getting this reaction.

If we are to believe reports the Flames have given Lindholm all the power by preaching patience and not rushing him into a decision. If that is in fact true then it shows how absolutely desperate they are to keep the player.

The next week or so is the busy season and I think they should be aiming to have this settled sooner than later but by all accounts there is no pressure on Lindholm to make up his mind

Yeah, it's a little wild to me that the Flames seem to be prioritizing Lindholm to the degree they are. They're acting as if he's some franchise defining player.

He is not that, and it's sad that the organization views him that way.
