There were a bunch of Habs fans in that area...I think it had more to do with them than taunting

I'm not sure if the Flames have anyone as good as Suzuki at this point...
Well, this is just utter nonsense.

Probably not, that's why the Isles need to win.

Can't believe they're on the verge of going up 3-2 in the 3rd round.

If the Flames could/would have flipped the script on Ottawa the Habs wouldn't even be in the playoffs.
That or win one more game against Montreal. Fine line

Flames would have been bounced in the first round anyways, cause that is what they do. Then we would be talking about the leafs about to be in the SCF. Yikes.

Veterans with stature and pedigree, possibly leading the young and talented fellows to a massive upset.

No one loses to the Leafs in the first round

So the big question is do they go back to Lehner for game 6?
They almost have to.

Yep. It's a bit painful to think of how well the Flames played vs the Habs this season, and then see the Habs almost in the SC final.

They need to find a way to score 2 goals in regulation.

I want Montreal to win...or Vegas to lose, the only problem is that I'm afraid this will reaffirm the whole "just get in any anything can happen" bs mentality this team has and they'll think they still have a shot at the cup.

Yup....11 goals in 5 games. 7 in the last 4.

Defense wins and MTL is playing stifling D all over the ice. Relentless backchecking tonight, really impressive.

Montreal has the longest streak of successful PKs in the playoffs since 1933-34.

Is it? I didn't mean it to be.

Danault's had a hell of a playoff, lots of good decisions, lots of good puck movement, and responsible play. He's like a better Backlund. He's been great.

Suzuki is playing off the charts, he's fast as hell, not afraid of the corners, and has a hell of good shot. Flames used to have a guy like that, but he doesn't work as hard as Suzuki.

The Flames forwards sucked this year. They. Sucked. They sucked. They were impotent, boring, repetitive, unmotivated, confused, disengaged. Does that mean they are all garbage? No. There's some skill there, we know that. So what's going on? I dunno. But if Monahan's redemption (he's slow, and defensively only adequate) is his goals in tight, he didn't offer that this year (he did improve in faceoffs) and if Johnny is a puck-carrying machine, a dangerous winger with a great shot and uncanny passing, he sure didn't manage much this year. I saw a lot of "Oh man, I might get hit, think I'll just hold up here."

So. Yeah. What I see out of Danault and Suzuki would please the hell out of me on the Flames.

There's a mystique about Montreal in the Final though. Like the Yankees. The Ghosts, the Ghosts!

They rarely lose one, it took a Flames gargantuan effort to win in 89.

Well if the Isles can beat Tampa, I think that means Montreal could’ve.
