I kind of hope it would teach a lesson to our ownership group. Never again make one player, or finding a way to win with one player more important or the goal, versus the team as a whole.
As it would show, even the classiest of players will do what they need to do for themselves, and your fan base, as shown by this past year, will move on and still love the team.

I never said I wanted to go for those guys. I was just giving out names of young UFA defenseman. I've been preaching for another shut down defenseman ever since Regehr was traded.

Based on the guys that the Flames are rumored to be going after (Orpik, Gilbert, Ward, Hiller), it seems that Treliving does not share Feaster's opinion about post-apex players.

McBain couldn't play defense in Buffalo, so I dont think he can play defense for us. Del Zotto maybe, although his NHL career is also on the ropes
