Stroud has been pretty pedestrian since his first season. Last season he got the Slowik fired and they were waffling on firing Nick Caley until yesterday when they decided to give him another season.

Yeah, I love it. All season it's been Nix sucks every time I turn around (not just here, everywhere) and now all.of a sudden the Donkey's are doomed. Like which is it?
The reality is that Nix has been playing pretty well of late and he can make some outstanding throws (at least 4 in the Buffalo game), and he is a consistent threat as a runner. Plus he's a winner. Period. What is he, 24-10 in his first two seasons? Yeah this guy's no good.
Stidham is also quite good at playing QB. If he has issues Sunday it will be from rust more than lack of skill. He can make all the NFL throws, and despite not getting the playing time he knows the offense and should be competent at least.
Not saying the Broncos are sure to win, but people need to lay off the hyperbole. Doesn't really make for a good discussion.

Yeah, Nix sucks.
Sucks worse than a career backup who hasn't started a game for 3 years?
Probably not, but certainly possible.

Patriots and Rams for the third time.
Patriots 26-24 over the Bronco's, come back from 10 points down in the second half and get a last minute TD to win.
Rams 23-16 over the Seahawks. Rams rattle Darnold pretty hard for 4 turnovers, 3 of which lead to pokints. But a couple special teams miscues and the Seahawks defence helps keep this close. Seattle drives to tie it up but a late interception ices the game for the Rams. Very much like the first game between these teams save the punt on the 1 foot line by the Rams that saved them.

I am a little concerned for Sam Darnold going into the weekend. First of all, outside of the actual game against SF, he apparently hasn't thrown a football in like 10 days.
Second, the Seahawks' 3rd string left tackle, Amari Kight, is hurt and has not practiced this week. Which wouldn't be such a big deal, except that the Seahawks' 2nd string left tackle, Josh Jones, is hurt and has not practiced this week. Which wouldn't be such a big deal, except that the Seahawks' starting tackle, Charles Cross, is hurt and has not practiced this week.
Now, let me think, how did it go the last time Sam Darnold played without his starting LT against the Rams in the playoffs... let me just check... uh oh.

Sounds crazy, but he came off the street and gave a live NFL team a chance to win three games simply with his brain. Might be more interested in having him start as an OC, but it might be crazy enough to work.

The fact Tomlin is the white McCarthy, or McCarthy is the black Tomlin....I know Steelers fans don't want to laugh right now, but come on this is hilarious lol.

Last weekend at mile high was one of the most fun experiences I have ever had as a fan. Bronco fans are going to show up.
People that say Bo Nix sucks is just full hater. Guy is a gamer. Get him some more weapons when the Wilson dead money is off and let’s go.
Having said that hope the team rally’s behind the situation and ball out for the backup
No prediction. All house money at this point. Go Broncos!

Patriots: Cold weather make make this dull. I think Maye is going to struggle and his fumbleitis will strike. Stidham will be efficient and decent and properly game planned but has to have that extra gear when needed to make those one or two key timely plays. I don’t think he will so picking the Pats by a FG or less.
Seahawks: Assuming Seattle plays an efficient boring game on offense, the defense and special teams will push the game over the edge. McVey and Stafford will cause all sorts of problems for Seattles defense. Home field matters though. Seattle by less than a FG as well, but one extra mistake by Seattle and it can go the other way.
NFC winner likely rolls the AFC in the SB though.

So looks like it'll be snowing at Mile High tomorrow, not just be cold. I think that makes it a coin flip.

Broncos 20 Patriots 16
Seahawks 31 Rams 28 (OT)
Home crowds the difference in both games, they impact the game enough to give their teams just that little bit extra.
