By far, it would be bizarre to have both Aydar and Ivar on our radar as future stars.

My kid has played with and against Tynan since they were 7 years old. They do some on ice stuff together in the summer as well.

Great kid on top of being a great player, Flames would be fortunate to get him.

Watching Lawrence highlights and he has alot more skill then I assumed.

He's also an August birthday for one of the youngest in the draft?

He would be an amazing grab.

He puts in the work and actually watches a ton of these guys.

It is funny that people called you out. Usually you are the one that ends up defending pundits with differing opinions that show up in their lists. For the record, I agree with it - would be really boring if all the lists were in the same order, and everyone - Button and Pronman included - have been proven right (and wrong) numerous times.

For me, it is never about the order - it is about "What are they seeing - or not seeing - to come up with a contrarian view?" Makes it much more interesting to figure it out.

Bukula on Kyper and Bourne stating that this draft has difference makers all the way through the lottery (pick 16).

Two months ago, the draft's primary debate was who’s next after Gavin McKenna?

Now, all the talk is about who is No. 1?

It has essentially become a five-player race, featuring McKenna, Ivar Stenberg, Chase Reid, Keaton Verhoeff, and Ethan Belchetz. Each brings their own unique skill set, and provided no one pulls away with it, the top pick could easily end up coming down to skill set and positional preference, just like in 2022.

For now, McKenna remains our No. 1. He’s been better than the discourse, though his last few weekends have certainly shaken confidence around the industry. Still, he remains the most skilled and dynamic player, with the longest track record of elite success.

Personally I'm leery of Belchetz as he's so dominant because of his size more than his skill from my viewings. With that said I havent probably watched him as much as Sandman and a few of you draft eligible phenoms.

He's got above average speed for a big lad, but I don't see a TON of skill like I do with some of the other guys. He's probably 6-10 for me right now.

Complimentary piece for sure, I don't see him as a Joe Thorton star power forward, but you never know.

I’ve watched about 4 minutes of Belchetz in this NTDP-CHL game

This guy is not a #1 OA but he’ll probably be a decent player

The best comparable I have heard for Belchetz is JVR.
