It is funny that people called you out. Usually you are the one that ends up defending pundits with differing opinions that show up in their lists. For the record, I agree with it - would be really boring if all the lists were in the same order, and everyone - Button and Pronman included - have been proven right (and wrong) numerous times.
For me, it is never about the order - it is about "What are they seeing - or not seeing - to come up with a contrarian view?" Makes it much more interesting to figure it out.

Two months ago, the draft's primary debate was who’s next after Gavin McKenna?
Now, all the talk is about who is No. 1?
It has essentially become a five-player race, featuring McKenna, Ivar Stenberg, Chase Reid, Keaton Verhoeff, and Ethan Belchetz. Each brings their own unique skill set, and provided no one pulls away with it, the top pick could easily end up coming down to skill set and positional preference, just like in 2022.
For now, McKenna remains our No. 1. He’s been better than the discourse, though his last few weekends have certainly shaken confidence around the industry. Still, he remains the most skilled and dynamic player, with the longest track record of elite success.

Personally I'm leery of Belchetz as he's so dominant because of his size more than his skill from my viewings. With that said I havent probably watched him as much as Sandman and a few of you draft eligible phenoms.
He's got above average speed for a big lad, but I don't see a TON of skill like I do with some of the other guys. He's probably 6-10 for me right now.
Complimentary piece for sure, I don't see him as a Joe Thorton star power forward, but you never know.

The way the season is trending, the draft lottery is going to be stressful with Edmonton, Toronto and Vancouver on their way to being in range of a top 5 pick with Calgary.

Yeah I think there's plenty of time for Toronto to get out of their funk, but Edmonton missing in the first season after McDavid signs his extension would be worth the pain of watching the draft lottery IMO. Even though they're grandmaster-level lottery ballers.
I'm cheering for Winnipeg/Chicago/San Jose to knock Vegas out of a playoff spot no matter how unlikely it is. At least there's that to cheer for in the West.
