But it's not like GG matches lines that often anyways.

A lack of logic is hard to understand, unless you look at it and accept it for what it is - illogical.

Was Elliot’s comment a indirect shot at GG?
No team in the league let’s the snowball continue downhill as much as the flames when things are bad...

Haven't watched more than a few minutes of a game in about a month until tonight. A nice long break really does highlight the disorganized mess that this boring, reactive type of hockey creates on the ice. Either every player on this team forgot the basic fundamentals of the game or this "system" really is that brutal. I find it hard to believe if you stuck most of these players on any other team they would make as many glaring mistakes as they have this season. Or maybe they would.

Remember when the Flames were a lottery team three times under Hartley?

All four of these turtles are simultaneously in the line-up because GG is a stupid coach

This team is so inconsistent I wouldn't be surprised if they came out like world beaters in the third

He'd probably stop all those. But allow a late 3rd period goal from center ice dump in to take the loss.

Yep, Tkachuk's penalty was bad and cost them a goal, but it was Rittich's lousy effort on a nothing shot that left this team shellshocked.
Rittich followed that peel away to the boards like a rookie EASHL goalie and left the far side gaping wide. It's one thing to have a sheepish player slinking back to the bench after taking a stupid penalty, it's another thing entirely when you no longer have confidence in your goalie. Not the first time he's been beaten clean on the glove side on a nothing shot.

The Flames core problem is the lack of focus. When there's a job that needs to be done, they get distracted easily or aren't prepared to get the job done from a mental standpoint.
Not sure who is to blame for that, but this team isn't going anywhere until it gets fixed.

we both know your post is intellectually dishonest as Hartley had less than half the talent to work with than GG does.
Additionally, I'd be much happier with a lottery pick going into this offseason that this bull#### we're suffering through now

Calgary probably has more skill than Vegas, but Vegas has heart and are relentless. That comes from leadership, character and team identity.

Behind in the game, just saw the Gaudreau thing. I've always stayed patient with Bennett but I think he officially lost me tonight. Completely accidental and freakish obviously, but within a week he's a) knocked our best player's teeth out, and b) nicked his neck with his skate. On top of all the neutral/offensive zone penalties he gets. The guy's just a bull in a china shop man...in a bad way.
Dude just doesn't get enough points to put up with all this crap, I'm sick of him as of tonight.
