Its been my fear from the second he won the leadership, and the feeling has only gotten stronger as this thing went on.
I hope he proves me 100% wrong, I just don't think I am and I don't think it will take very long to find out.

I don't know if it's just my machine, but the CBC dashboard is not updating. Still shows Hehr quite a bit behind, although the colour of the riding changed. How can they not be providing up to date updates?

Well, I don't like the idea of any government having a majority, but the votes were voted. Should be an interesting few years.

The stomach turning has just started. I think people are going to get tired of his BS really really quickly. And he is all BS and no substance I have no doubt about that.

The old man focused his rheumy, grey eyes at the impudent young coward seated across from him. Through the smoke and ash of the fire, he growled furiously
"Aye, ye don't ken what I be tellin' yah." He dismissively waved his hand towards the group of chuckling men and took a long pull from his jug. "Ye were piglets, sucklin' from yer ma's teat when Trudeau rode in with his EHN-EEE-PEE and cut off Adam Smith's hand at the wrist."
He squinted harshly at the night sky, stars whirling overhead, mixed through the miasma of cinder and smoke. Whether the tears tattooing lines in his haggard face were from ash or sadness, none could tell.

I thanked this the first time you posted it. Now it just seems forced.

What is the overall voter turnout looking like? Calgary Confederation is only showing 60%. I actually expected that number to be higher (upwards of 65%.)

Only partly. The ability to represent your riding in government also has to be a concern.
However, now that we have a liberal government, the potential of having effective representation in a liberal majority government by people like Grant and Hehr is something we should all want, even if you'd rather a different party was governing, and a different candidate representing you within that government.

Libs have a real shot in Edmonton Millwoods too. Ex-Councillor Amarjeet Sohi is less than 100 votes behind Uppal

I have no doubt that you have no doubt about that, and that you will continue to have no doubt regardless of actual results
