Yeah, but the NY Giants don't win their first Super Bowl if they don't have a QB with the balls to make that kind of throw and get lucky.

One throw is a heck of a lot different than a guy who relies on those types of throws, although Manning does throw a ton of picks. Manziel could certainly develop that side of his game, but if the draft is tomorrow I'm not taking him over the other QB's on the board.

I just know I keep hearing comparisons between Manziel and Ryan Leaf, and that should give any suitors pause.
He may be awesome, but he would need to go into the correct situation with someone who knew how to push his buttons and turn him into a pro. The wrong team and it will a waste of a pick.

The Chargers proved that the Eagles are indeed a team that can be beaten as their defence has a lot of holes at this point in time. Problem is that the Chiefs offence is still very pedestrian and really has an awful passing game. After Dwayne Bowe the receiving core is bad, and teams are able to key on the run and keep Charles in check, and they really have no other running back. Smith has done a really good job of protecting the football though, and the defence has been pretty good the first couple games. Still Vick, Desean Jackson, and McCoy look dangerous everytime they tough the ball. Chiefs need to get a lot of hits on Vick early if they want to have a chance. But if this one starts getting away from them, Philly can laugh all the way to a 56-7 win.

Colts activated troubled ex-Tennesse Volunteers WR Da'Rick Rogers to their 53 man roster today. Hopefully Pagano and co. can get this kid's head in the right place because he has so much potential.

He relies on those type of throws?
In 2012 he had a 68% completion rate with only 9 interceptions.
The kid didn't win the Heisman because he is lucky and just tosses up prayers.
Plus in games against what is the best defense in the country, and has been praised as an NFL type defense, he has only put up over 70% completion rate with 7 TDs, 2 interceptions, and over 700 yards passing.
I think his off field issues are blinding people to how good of a football player Johnny Manziel actually is. I have a feeling people just don't like the kid so they want to see him bust.

Manziel to me, just doesnt have an NFL "look" about him....size, style, etc.. none of it. Of course thats what i thought about Doug Flutie too.
6', 200 lbs or so....very pedestrian....plays in a unique offense that wont translate to the NFL exactly....
Yeah, a lot of ?? about him but without a doubt someone will fall in love with him more than likely and make him a 1st rd pick.

If Johnny keeps putting up absurd stat lines its going to be very difficult to see him not going in the first round.

Well I haven't watched every game, but I've seen him routinely heave balls into situations that call on his WR to make the play. He relies on being more athletic than the defense, and uses that to take advantage when they break down. That's great, and he should use it, but that advantage won't exist at the next level.

I don't totally disagree with you.
But in this case Clowney can't be passed over. Absolute freak.
Another DE is another pass rusher, not just the same as they are now.

Hey, I know the flaws of my own teams....
Good news is that 25% of the road schedule will be done and the team will still be above 500!
This years team seems to be miles ahead at the mental game though. Last two years they got creamed the first 3 games of the season, this year they've come up looking much sharper. Nice to see the defence not give up 40+ points in the first two games of the season like they did the past two years.

The Chiefs have a first and goal yet they fail to get a TD. That seems so familiar.
