Here's one of my favourite things about Android - automatic updates of apps. I always thought it was unreal Apple didn't have this, but I've become really used to it since buying my S3 last month. Last night I picked up my iPhone 4, which I use as the world's most expensive remote control for my Apple TV, and had to update all my apps by typing in my password and then waiting around for them to update like some kind of idiot. Just do it automatically, Apple! It's not like I've ever said no to a single app update in four years. Plus I have two iPads...every time I pick up one of my iDevices I have that annoying little job the OCD guy in me can't help but do before I can start doing what it is that I actually picked up the device to do.

Automatic updates of anything is bad. What happens when a dev pushes a feature you don't want, or introduces a new bug that breaks needed functionality?

Always disable auto updates, and always vett things yourself. If there is one thing that Microsoft has taught us about software, it's that.

Too bad ios 7 can't increase the 2009-level screen size on the iphone! haha

I still don't get this argument on why people want a bigger screen size. I find the Iphone 4/4s near perfect for size. The only thing I would like is if it were possible to kill the black bezel and have screen going all the way to the edges.

Use a bigger phone, then go back to the smaller one and you'll realize what people are talking about.

I don't know. I think my iphone 4 is too big for carrying around. I just can't imagine lugging around a bigger phone.

hahhaa. the best is that 2 of my applefanboy friends used to say that the iphone4/4s was the perfect size at 3.5 inches and that they wouldn't even consider a 4 inch size phone. jump ahead they both got the iphone 5 and said that 4inches is the perfect size and that.... hahaha

Ever since i got my S3 i barely use my tablet anymore.

I remember thinking when looking at the S3 how big it was, bought it and then my brother bought the Note, I felt immediately like my phone was too small again.

I'm tempted to go bigger screen size on my next purchase, not sure what that phone will end up being, don't plan on buying anything for another year so we'll see whats available out there. Although I did get to play with a friends HTC one for a bit, that is one awesome phone.

Ever since i got my S3 i barely use my tablet anymore.

That could be as well. I have played around with s3 quite a bit and don't like the bigger feel but that might change if I used it daily. Maybe I am just too young still since I use my phone over my tablet as it is now. I am sure I will appreciate the bigger phones once my eyes start failing on me. I am not really an apple fanboy I like my iphone and appreciate what else is out there.

Also the s3 and any of the newer bigger phones are thinner and lighter than your iphone 4/4s.

Lighter makes me feel like less quality and cheaper materials that is one of the turnoffs with the s3. I haven't played with the nexus 4 and it still intrigues me. It is like buying a watch normally the heavier ones mean they are better quality than a light one due to the materials used.

hmm weird. Alot of iphone people make that argument. They don't like the s3 because of the cheap plastic, yet once they buy their phone the majority of them put them into a cheap plastic case. The Nexus 4 is made of glass.

All the newer watches i buy are made of titanium. Alot lighter. Doesn't mean it's not better.

Yes titanium is better which makes it lighter but in now way can you tell me that plastic feels better than glass.

Plastic will never have a higher end feel than glass. I don't put my phone in a case yet (I probably will once my future baby starts to use it). Again why I said the nexus 4 intrigues me because it isn't made of plastic and have that cheap feel.

Bigger screens easier to see as your eyes get worse? My mom loves looking at her ipad, she can't see anything when looking on my iphone. I am sure a S3 or a Note would be much easier for her to use because her eye sight isn't as good as mine. I don't wear corrective lenses she does.
