I'm pretty sure it's in there.
Also this.
Subsequent reports emerging from Taiwan’s Digitimes suggest that supplies of the smaller iPad’s display and backlighting components are suffering “low yield rates”, prompting Apple to heavily revise projected sales of the new device in the quarter up until Christmas.
Word from insiders close to LG and AU Optronics, both of whom supply Apple with panels for the iPad Mini, indicates that the displays just cannot be produced in high enough quantities.
AUO is meant to handle 40 per cent of panels for the iPad Mini. Right now, it’s at just 22 per cent. The result? Apple may miss its 10 million unit sales target by a colossal 4 million. If this report is on the money, it’s nothing short of a disaster for Apple.

Samsung is set to spend $12 billion/year on advertising. Just found the number to be amazing. No, Bertuzzied, no hidden reason in posting this.

So wait... Not only can't you delete Newsstand in iOS, you can't even hide it in a folder?
Stuff like this makes it almost impossible to want an iDevice. What a messed up thing to do.

Apple is still making more money than I can even imagine.
If anything, these "wars" are starting to settle out a bit and neither is miles ahead of the other. There really isn't much of a bad choice anymore; both the major ecosystems have matured to a point where most people can get what they need from either.
The whole argument is kind of silly now. It is good to identify the deficiencies in each, if only in hopes that those issues can be fixed in the future, but today you can do 95% of everything on any ecosystem with ease.

It's also worth noting that most carriers have dropped the 3 year contract price of the 32 and 64 GB iPhones. They are $199 and $299. Fido is the noteable exception. So let me spin that both ways and get it over with:
Pro-iPhone users: there has never been a better time to get a new iPhone! Obviously Apple is doing well enough that they can now affort to discount the price!
Pro-Android users: One more nail in Apple's coffin. You can tell that sales haven't met expectations, and now they have slashed their prices in a desperate effort to get people to buy their phone.

I honestly think this might have more to do with a shift in purchasing behaviours in the US market - I was reading (unrelated to iphone vs android) that pre-pay accounts are dramatically outgrowing post-pay, to the point where they are now the more common sale. So maybe the discounts reflect the carriers being anxious to keep their long-term contract customer base.

I know that personally I haven't bothered to upgrade from my iPhone 4 because there is no compelling reason to do so. "Faster" and "more resolution" are mostly rrelevant when the phone is already fast and has a Retina display. I suspect that many people with the 4 and 4s feel the same way.

Ummm do they mean 2001 for Nokia?? haha Unless they meant shipped 100 million but sold only 30.
According to the research firm, Samsung's 213 million smartphones shipped over the course of 2012 sets a record for most units shipped by a smartphone vendor in a single year. The previous record holder was Nokia (NOK), which shipped 100.1 million units in 2010.

Nokia was selling a boatload of phones outside of North America up until very recently.
