I got an email from Roger's yesterday that it had shipped to the store and it gave a UPS tracking which showed the store received the phone this morning. Still no call from the store though

Actually I find this pretty easy from the new maps app (I've already reported the McHuge vs McHugh Bluff error). Just hit the "folded page" in the bottom corner of the map screen and there is a link for "Report a Problem". Or if you tap a point of interest then choose the blue arrow there will be a button for reporting errors. I have no idea how fast or whether they actually do anything with the reports but there is definitely a way to do it.

I cant get my Maps to work with the new ISO6. When I search for directions from current location to home it just refers me to download other apps. Am I doing something wrong?

Do you have the bus selected under the directions tab? Set it to the car. The bus is for 3rd party app integration

Yes, does that mean Apple no longer has the bus app integrated into the Maps feature? That was one of the main features I used with iPhones.

In a statement made to AllThingsD, an Apple spokesperson said: “Customers around the world are upgrading to iOS 6 with over 200 new features including Apple Maps, our first map service … We are excited to offer this service with innovative new features like Flyover, turn by turn navigation, and Siri integration. We launched this new map service knowing it is a major initiative and that we are just getting started with it. Maps is a cloud-based solution and the more people use it, the better it will get. We appreciate all of the customer feedback and are working hard to make the customer experience even better.”

In other words, who cares what is in the best interest of the consumer. Apple remains committed to bringing Google down.

Apple can have my updates and corrections when they start paying me for them.

I've pre-ordered with Fido and have received notification that it has been delivered to the store. Anybody have any information about voice and data plans?

RFD is normally a good source of details but I can't find any reliable information yet.

I bet we'll have soft screens in less than 10 years. Till then, might be hard.

Unless you had a flip that was as big as the screens we have now. But then what would be the point?
