What environment, you might ask? Well, the club talks big and has a massive stadium, training ground and things like that. 9th richest club on the planet, which is impressive. NFL games, Beyonce concerts and a fancy go-kart facility! But, we're in the midst of (yet another) injury crisis, and our attack is awful. Like 11 through-balls all season kind of awful! And the solution is to loan out Mathys Tel, sell Johnson and bring in Connor Gallagher and a 17 year old from Brazil. It's stunning incompetence.

Guehi to City, so they've bought a full XI in these past 12 months

but I'm sure those "era-defining charges" are right around the corner. Aaaaaany day now.

sucks to have the ball in the net twice, hit the crossbar and still be 0-0 at half. But a very encouraging start for Carrick.

All that money spent and they still look like a mid team. Without Donnarumma this would be a massacre against an even more mid United team.

Second goal sums up the match, incredibly simple ball across and Dorgu just wants it more, pathetic effort from the City defender. As I said weeks ago this title race is over, City are not real contenders.

About as lopsided as a 2-0 can be, could easily have been 6 or 7-0. Shameful effort from City, forget about a title race or whatever, it's a derby and they didn't look like they cared even slightly. Full marks to United.

VAR is such a joke. Looked onside on replay, then they stall for 5 minutes and in the end you don't even get an explanation or graphics. Thanks for nothing.

Here comes El Sackico! Spurs really need to put the dagger in here and send West Ham down.

still a bit pissed about that late VAR call, but man, still a great day. Should have really put the dagger in though ... 3 offside goals, 2 posts, and a number of great Donnarumma saves.

insane. Really happy for Carrick and the club as a whole.

Create a 100 chances, score one goal. Give up one chance, give up one goal. About 90% of Liverpool’s games this season.

You lose! Which means Frank is gone, so you actually win!

Abysmal performance from Spurs, particularly in the first half. It could’ve been 3-0 at halftime against a team that hadn’t won since November. That’s got to be the end of the line for Frank, and if not then I have no idea what the board is thinking. This is relegation form for the club at this point.

yikes, can't see Glasner remaining at Palace beyond this weekend after his comments today. Shame his tenure there seemingly ends on bad terms.

I'm glad to hear him call out cheap ownership. Clearly he has the Manchester United job sewn up, and he's not wrong about them selling Guehi without a replacement lined up.
