This FA Cup match is like watching paint dry.

Speaking of FA Cup, this has to be the most comical over-performance of xG ever. Exeter keeper has to be total cheeks.

I doubt Exeter has the budget for a Sports Psychologist but that Exeter keeper is going to be having PTSD of balls whizzing by him and probably need to talk to someone.

I can imagine that Post-Game Beers was a grim time. Just wide eyes and introspection.

"WTF Just happened?"

Maybe he had pre-game beers.

That's actually an incredibly reasonable thought lol. If I knew I was gonna get lit up in net I'd be getting lit up before hand.

I didn't see the game so I dont know if he played well or not, but 10 in any match is pretty grim. So its possible.

Maccasfield punting out the current FA Cup Champions is a first by a non league team in 117 years and the table position difference between two clubs is largest difference ever in the history of the FA Cup.

Even just scoring 2 against the current Cup holders by a non League team hasn’t happened in almost 90 years.

I kind of feel for that United kid who got sent off. That seems like a call that sometimes gets let go for the second yellow.

Mancunian tears are always welcome, but at the end of the day, United just plain aren't that good at the moment. I dont think anyone would dispute that. But furthermore I think too much is being made of losing to Brighton.

In the past Brighton were perennial minnows, but over the last few seasons they have been a good team. They're not the easy 'automatic out' that they used to be. If you're going to 'Up the Albion' you'd better be ready.

United isnt up to their old standards but Brighton aren't a bunch of scrubs anymore either.

This Barnsley manager bothers me.

Hopping around like a lunatic over every tiny little touch.

I like Ekitike. A proper Frenchman.

The Frenchman to the German for a nice goal. The way it should be.

Michael Carrick has agreed to take over as Man Utd interim head coach until the summer; United held meetings with both Carrick and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer but opted for the ex midfielder; Carrick's first game in charge is set to be the Manchester derby on Saturday, live on Sky Sports

I gather then not making an immediate play for Alonso...Spurs might beat them to it.

I'm not worried about Spurs specifically. I think United's chances are very slim, I think Tottenham's are zero.
