The thirds are not good. Going OT here but what the hell. Didn't I hear that they were stopping with those and going back to the retros as their thirds?

This nails it, I really don't like the thirds and it's entirely because of the word mark. I do however love the shoulder patch, if they could make that the main logo and alter the colour scheme a bit to suit it (Photoshop and or graphic design is totally not my skill set), we'd have wicked jerseys.

If they knew they weren't getting any more shipments of the third jerseys it's a pretty big hint, I think that's where the rumour started

That was posted in March, so I highly doubt there was any inside information. Most likely just an assumption because they were 50% off because every year when they end up being on for that price the same rumors pop up.
