And that's that. Wilson once again looking like a legend.

Can't believe Denver was even in that game. At least Sherman can talk to the media afterwards this week.

Great game. Don't agree with the conservative defensive approach in OT, but maybe they were gassed. Cory Nelson in the game is certainly an indication that could be the case.
Bye week is officially here.

great game. Would have liked to see a Denver win.
Wilson and that offense looked methodical. Reminded me of when they picked apart the Bears defense in OT a few years ago.

Offense showed up too late since Wilson didn't even give Broncos a chance in OT. Couldn't contain him at all; he's a great player.

Wilson coming through in clutch. Defense would've been heros until Manning marched them down, but Wilson breaks out the runs in OT and stretches the D wide while Lynch wears down the middle of the Broncos D.
Broncos will be right there at the end of the season again, assuming full health.
Bye week for Seattle as well.
1am here, time for bed.

Crazy start to the year. Who would've predicted coming into the season that San Francisco, New Orleans, and Green Bay would all be 1-2?

Le'Veon Bells 81 yard rush was a thing of beauty. Too bad it wasn't a touchdown

49ers are a mess right now. There appear to be disconnects from the ownership right on down. Baalke/Harbaugh has been an issue since last season, the character issues with Culliver, Aldon Smith, Ray McDonald has caused schisms in the way they are handled. Just a lot of nagging things and there isn't strong leadership in the dressing room to pull it all together. Lots of talent but not much of a team right now. Hopefully they can exorcise some of the demons but I think it may require a step back to then move forward.

If the 49ers season derails (very possible) Harbaugh is almost certainly going to be fired or will be elsewhere next year. His immature, childish sideline antics are rubbing off on the players. Very undisciplined team right now, and so far outscored 52-3 in the second half including 31-0 in the 4th quarter.

He is in the final year of his contract - lame duck coach - and the players are playing like they are not worried about any consequences. The players are using all the excuses they have been given.
But also - the Cardinals are a good team. Take nothing away from them. They had 10 wins last year and are hungry to make the playoffs.
Edit: I'm wrong - he has another year left. The offseason was already full of talk about extending him - I assumed it was his final year. It isn't until Jan 2016 that he is free (I assume that means after the season ends).

Yeah, three weeks in the schedule is a bit of a factor too. There were a few 0-2 teams who were likely pretty desperate to get a win who did like the Colts, Chiefs and Saints to avoid having their season pretty much end. So really 26 teams are all within a game of each other, that's a huge glut. Will be interesting to see how many 3-2 and 2-3 teams there are come week 5.
As it sits today only the Bengals, Cardinals, and Eagles can lay claim to an unbeaten record, and the Jaguars, Raiders, and Buccaneers are the winless teams. I think the Bengals and Eagles will most certainly make the playoffs. The Cards too are a strong contender due to this start as it gives them a two game cushion over teams like New Orleans, Green Bay, and San Francisco. I'll be surprised if one of the winless teams doesn't end up with the top pick this year. Jacksonville and Tampa both look pretty awful. The Raiders haven't been as bad, but you have to know Dennis Allen will not be their head coach next year.

I am happy for the Cards. Even with a lot of key players missing/left, we still are solid at defense and our offense got significantly better. Definitely feels good to be undefeated with a bye week. I am giving all of the credit to Bruce Arians, he's just a solid coach.

Especially since the last few years we've struggled getting divisional wins. One of the reasons why we didn't get to see playoff action last year. We are 10-2 in the last 12 season games we've played.

I remember how a lot of Steeler fans used to complain about Bruce Arians as their offensive co-ordinator, but he did a hell of a job with the Colts, and is doing the same with the Cardinals.

Steve Biscotti called a presser for 4 p.m. ET (presumably to debunk the ESPN report from Friday, but who the hell really knows at this point?)
