I was listening to 606 podcast the other day and Robbie Savage said he'd pay for a Sunderland supporter's season ticket if they finish ahead of Liverpool this season!!

It's quite funny to see all this speculation about Becks because as soon as you understand the Galaxy's position all the talk becomes pointless. If I remember correctly, this is Beckham's last year of his contract and I don't think there is a chance he'll re-sign or the Galaxy will want to re-sign him. As such, the ball is in the Galaxy's court as they don't have to pander to him.
Although he may have produced for them off the pitch, I'm thinking that he's under-preformed on the pitch and they'd like to see him do more work on the pitch in his last season. As such, they'll want to him to stay with the team so they can prepare for the season as a unit and, more importantly, avoid another bad injury.
The only way I can see him playing in the BPL this season is through a transfer, the Galaxy would get a pay-off and be able to complete a proper search for an adequate replacement.

KJ's list is a pretty futile exercise. Everyone is going to have very different lists when there's 100 players involved. Plus most people have way more knowledge about players from the team they support then they do with others.
Like Addick, I admire his attempt, but it's kinda pointless IMO.

They should have let them sort it out. Bring on Dzeko.

Tomorrow will be a challenge.

Beckham to spurs looking more likely today
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/foot...em/9331809.stm
wouldn't mind if it was a training only thing either, he isn't going to be first choice anyway
and Dzeko to Man City is signed between the clubs

Jesus Christ, people have to stop signing Beckham. The guy is so old hes practically a British Ambassador! Does he sip scotch, smoke cigars and sign treaties after training?

Huge huge win at Villa today, puts us 2 pts behind Chelsea although they have a game in hand.. Not good to see injuries to Meyler and Welbeck though with a rematch against the scum coming up here
Oh and Seamus Coleman looked amazing against spurs today, hell of a player that guy!

Good for Keane, I've always like him, hard worker, great guy, hes just got to play somewhere where he'll get a chance to play and the expectations arent so high.
I think this is a great move for everyone, Birmingham get a good player for their level, Spurs get rid of a superfluous to requirements player and get some cash and Keane gets a chance to play.

I think the impact Becks would have on the younger players, especially Lennon, would be the reason for bringing him in. Choosing Tottenham would be a little odd for Becks as you'd think he'd want some playing time, I guess Ol' Twitcher is giving him some assurances.

I think Arseblog put it best:

You guys may not have seen it but David Seaman was on Sky during the half last night. He's lost the pony tail and is looking in shape, I had to ask my cousin if it actually was Seaman Seaman.

I always thought he was class, good to see him go somewhere where I can support him again.

David Beckham has the sweetest contract in the Universe. Rope a dope around a little in the MLS getting paid a reported £25M a year, and then join big European clubs for the last half or third of their season.
Best of both worlds and an assload of money on top of it.

Ya I think/hope the biggest impact he has on the side is training
reason he wants tottenham I think is kind of two fold, he started his youth career at Spurs and his grandfather was a massive Spurs fan
so he doesn't look at it like going back on what he said about never playing for a PL side besides Man United because he has all ready been at Spurs
There is also the story in I think the mirror but possibly the daily fail that Harry and Becks are all ready planning that after Capello leaves Becks will become his number 2 for England
