There’s no words for my level of disdain for the guys who drive jacked up megacab dodge trucks. They’re ####ing all the same, with #### sounding exhaust running remote start for 15 minutes because their poseur ass needs let the whole neighborhood know that they do, in fact, have a DIESEL TRUCKKKKKK. Invariably with some gaudy-ass aftermarket parts catalogue whoring and some goofball decal identifying the owner as a ####ing imbecile.
The most interesting part I find is that these rigs, with aftermarket parts, can cost $120k+. Where are these dudebros getting that kind of dough?
I think it is dumb they call boneless chunks of breaded chicken breast wings, but I would hardly sue someone over it lmao.
Boneless wings does kind of suggest a different product than what’s being sold, but if you bought them multiple times and believed that they were deboned wings, maybe you’re not very discerning to begin with, and probably also think they come from baby chickens. That said, I am surprised poultry science hasn’t created a boneless bird. I imagine it would look terrifying and nobody would want eat it.
I don’t know… maybe. There are more than a couple offensive episodes (but again, I personally thought they were still super funny, you can just recognize ones that people would take issue with out of context) but I also think there’s comedians that get away with the same or worse today.
I think a bigger problem in comedy that I’ve noticed lately is that a lot of comedians (especially older ones) are building entire sets that mostly just complain about cancel culture and what they can’t say, and then they say it anyway, but it’s not very funny because it comes off like they’re trying to be offensive. A lot of younger comedians are able to land offensive jokes because they don’t have 20 minutes of set up about how cancelled they are and then use a 30 year old stereotype as the punchline.
I think you could still do Seinfeld today in context. Always Sunny is probably worse and they’re still going.
I think there is a lot right with what you say there. The setting up of jokes by initially complaining about cancel culture before ploughing right ahead with ‘what has supposedly been cancelled’ is lazy and lame.
It’s the modern day equivalent to opening up a set with ‘Hey, what’s the deal with…’.

Super long financing terms.
I just priced out a mid-tier (and you know these guys go top tier, so this is the low end) Ram 2500 Power Wagon and payments were $1,394/month for eight ####ing years.
Net price on the truck I priced out was $102k, so like I say, that's not even tarted up all that much.

Pro tip: you refinance your mortgage amortized over 35 years and then it's just the cost of two packs of smokes a day.

Knowing guys who have gotten trucks like this, they usually get suckered in with a teaser rate early before they get ####ed and start hating their life knowing what they're actually going to be paying for the next seven years.

They work overtime, so much overtime. So much overtime that they are rarely home, and spend most of their free time away from camp or the job site in their truck.

Clearly, you haven’t seen the Far Side cartoon on the boneless chicken ranch.

The frugallist in me cannot justify that. Assume you wanna retire in say 25 years (that’s assuming these bro dudes are mid 30’s and wanna retire around 60’ish, and instead of payments they actually have $100k cash If investments have historically doubled every ~7-8 years… that means the money doubles every 8 years or three times. . That’s 100k to 200k to 400k to **800k** final opportunity cost.
Better not buy at all or get one used. Or lower your wants and standards a whole lot.
