Former gm Dale Tallon deserves a lot of credit too, he picked Barkov at the draft which was kind of a surprise pick at #2 at the time and signed Bobrovsky which was criticised for the dollar amount.

And there it is. That was about 30 seconds before Ron put in a plug for the oilers. Ron fumbles for one of his terrible plays on words, something about bobrovsky-bobcat panther and then they show methcat and ron says "get it done tomorrow night lynx". Ronny just can't help himself- openly saying go oilers right there. Such a professional national broadcaster.

The Panthers are going to go from Vasilesky, Swayman and Shesterkin to... Skinner.

I think I've earned this joy. I don't want to hear any #### talking about Tkachuk, Bennett, Treliving, Edward Murray....nothing. Keep it to yourself for the finals please. Just let me be happy about this.
Enjoy it.

You’re a good guy.

I pray that they aren't afraid to test him. It's been so cringey watching Vancouver and Dallas refuse to put puck on net.

Imagine it's Oettinger though. Talk about a goalie gauntlet for the ages.

On you can and should be happy. But I don't think I'll be able to fulfill your request regarding Treliving if Panthers win it all. 😁

to be fair, he was 20 years old, Barkov was also on that team as an 18 year old and was even worse for production.

Start spreading the news. The Rangers are eliminated. The Panthers advance to the Stanley Cup Final for the third time in team history.

It was exactly 28 years ago today that the Panthers won the Prince of Wales trophy. They defeated the Penguins with all those rodents on the ice to advance to the final for the first time!

Hey Cali, you must thrilled again having your team win the Prince of Wales trophy again. This time they should be able to win the Stanley Cup.

I know the Panthers won it last year. The cats radio crew were mentioning the 28 year anniversary of the Panthers advancing to the final for the first time. Bill Lindsay is overjoyed talking about then and now.

I think the entire hockey world outside of the Edmonton metropolitan area is hoping for this.

I, for one, think the Stars have it in them to come back and win that series. Let's hope for an all-american final.

Congrats to the Panthers. Rooting for them to win it all. Also, obligatory: #### Brad Treliving
