I find the ATL report to be the cherry on top after reading all the celebratory comments. Keep up the good work Gaskal

I made the wall of shame with an emotional comment made in the heat of the moment. I don't mind one bit, it's all in good fun. Most of my comments are about the reffing who I continually blame for everything. lol More wall of shame = more wins... Keep it coming

Man this gets dramatic.

Personally I'm going to leave the WOS up to the moderators as I don't tend to care either way on these things.

Lets just keep this to what it is ... people that aren't happy until they get everyone wallowing in negativity. It's gets tiresome.

93% of the comments in the WOS were not that. They were pointing out plays and players that weren't playing well.

I don't think anyone is trying to make the site or GT into a positivity only exercise.

The tension on both sides of this issue is palpable.

Do get a kick out of some of the most negative people on the site fighting against it though

But why force people to see it and ruin the PGT? People can choose not to go into the GT or any other thread for that matter. That’s why WOS should be it’s own thread.

I don't even agree with that.

I'm sure to a man the Flames busted a nut in both games. They didn't generate much in game one, but won the game.

Game two was a frustrating experience because they forced it too much in trying to find ways through the Dallas system.

Game three had them generating way more, but had a lull at the end of the second and paid for it.

Never confuse a lack of chances with effort when the other team is doing everything they can to make the game non event hockey.

This was honestly amazing. And this alone should dispell any concerns about just how seriously anyone should take it.

It will be slimmed down in the future so that people aren't upset about minor/mild comments being included (although why would you be? I figure you'd think its fun to be up there, but I guess some take it personally).

As the creator I'd really like us to just shelf this debate for now and celebrate/discuss the win instead.

Someone is welcome to make a WoS debate thread where perhaps we can knock out some ground rules. How about that?

i agree with you and hate the doom and gloomers who only show up when things are terrible....hence why i never go into GTs.

we're all Flames fans right? why not save the hand wringing for if and when we actually lose? just enjoy this run for however long it lasts.

I was in 207 and only seen one Stars jersey go by us. Did not see the Oil spill

We should all try to live peacefully with each other and focus on the positive, affirming exercises like E=NG.

We should have a $5000 dollar buy in ball hockey tournament, Pessimists vs Optimists, for forum supremacy

I'm glad that tonight the focus should firmly be on E=NG.

Sort of like how medieval stocks of yore were located in the town square.

Yes, totally agree. People like me can choose to not go in there.

But it still derails the PGT discussion. I’m fine with it either way.

By that reasoning, I think you could argue that removing the names in the WOS would also not make a difference. It becomes more palatable in my mind if you do remove the names because it is no longer about shaming the person but the post.

You mentioned in one of your early posts that you were hoping that the WOS would decrease the excessive amount of negativity in GT's, a goal I wholeheartedly agree with; I think the WOS in your current format, is misguided. JMO

And if you're going to keep doing it, what really needs to make it is Enoch Root's ongoing struggles with posting pics on CP!
