They are wearing headphones too. I honestly don't know but would assume they get to hear the audio being sent out over broadcast that doesn't include their voices.

Thanks! I think I meant the Sedins, but oevrall I don't think it works as well as a normal pass. I doesn't confuse the defenders that much and is less accurate.

A good slap pass can be very effective. It tends to fake the goalie out moreso than the dmen. From the goalies point of view, the raising stick might be the only thing he sees.

When you use it on every zone possession, like the Sedin's used to, it's easier to cover.
