Things just continue to get worse for the Trump administration.

http://www.cnn.com/2017/03/22/politi...ans/index.html

Quote:
The FBI has information that indicates associates of President Donald Trump communicated with suspected Russian operatives to possibly coordinate the release of information damaging to Hillary Clinton's campaign, US officials told CNN.

This is partly what FBI Director James Comey was referring to when he made a bombshell announcement Monday before Congress that the FBI is investigating the Trump campaign's ties to Russia, according to one source.

The FBI is now reviewing that information, which includes human intelligence, travel, business and phone records and accounts of in-person meetings, according to those U.S. officials. The information is raising the suspicions of FBI counterintelligence investigators that the coordination may have taken place, though officials cautioned that the information was not conclusive and that the investigation is ongoing.
Quote:
Investigators continue to analyze the material and information from multiple sources for any possible indications of coordination, according to US officials. Director Comey in Monday's hearing refused to reveal what specifically the FBI was looking for or who they're focusing on.

Also, it's not looking good for the GOP health care bill.

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/03/22/u...=politics&_r=0

Quote:
A small but potentially pivotal group of House conservatives were largely unmoved Wednesday by appeals from Vice President Mike Pence and House Republican leaders to support a bill to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act, leaving it unclear whether President Trump and the Republican Congress could fulfill one of their central campaign promises.
Quote:
“They don’t have the votes to pass this tomorrow,” said Representative Mark Meadows, Republican of North Carolina and chairman of the conservative House Freedom Caucus. “We believe that they need to start over and do a bill that actually reduces premiums.”

“The opposition is still strong,” he said.
Quote:
A spokeswoman for the Freedom Caucus, Alyssa Farah, said that more than 25 members of the caucus were “no” votes on the health care measure — enough to sink the bill in the House, though that count could not be independently verified.

Koch brother have put together a fund to help defeat Republicans that vote yes for the health care bill. Its not enough of a repeal for them apparently.

Not too much of a stretch, given Trump's public invitation to the Russians to obtain and release emails.

One thing about Trump is that he's not only a prolific liar, he's a bad liar. I've no doubt that as the FBI continues to flip over stones, they'll find solid evidence to connect Trump to the Russian government. Either that, or Trump will fall out with someone who has that evidence, who will then provide it to the FBI or leak it to the media.

Or, just as likely, Russia will do it themselves.

Trump is in a bad spot. He promised everyone would have health care, yet he can't get enough votes for repeal and replace, because it's not bad enough, doesn't cut out enough Americans, for the republicans.
I'm loving it.

Despite what you hear in the press, healthcare is coming along great. We are talking to many groups and it will end in a beautiful picture!

What's ironic is that the US systems costs its taxpayers more per capita than comparable single payer systems. Spend more, get less...'merica

Over/under on Trump mentioning this terrorist (if at all)?

Any takers on...18 hours?

White supremacist accused of murder says he came to NYC to kill blacks
Quote:
Army veteran James Harris Jackson, 28, took a Bolt Bus from Maryland on Friday to “target male blacks” in the city, said Assistant Chief William Aubry of Manhattan South Detectives.

He particularly didn’t like black men who were romantically involved with white women, sources said.
Quote:
Jackson used a 26-inch mini-sword to repeatedly stab Timothy Caughman in the chest and back as he was digging through the trash near the corner of Ninth Avenue and West 36th Street at about 11:30 p.m. Monday, according to Aubry.
Every goddamn day it gets worse down there...

From CNBC's John Harwood on twitter:

Quote:
House Freedom Caucus source says odds of AHCA passing have improved after GOP leaders offered to eliminate "essential health benefits"
By the way, those "essential health benefits" that the ACA mandated coverage for:

Quote:
The ACA sets forth the following ten categories of essential health benefits,[6][7] at Section 1302(b)(1) of the Affordable Care Act, codified at 42 U.S.C. § 18022(b):[8]

(A) Ambulatory patient services. [outpatient care]
(B) Emergency services.
(C) Hospitalization. [inpatient care]
(D) Maternity and newborn care
(E) Mental health and substance use disorder services, including behavioral health treatment.
(F) Prescription drugs.
(G) Rehabilitative and habilitative services and devices.
(H) Laboratory services
(I) Preventive and wellness services and chronic disease management;
(J) Pediatric services, including oral and vision care.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Essential_health_benefits

So what exactly is health insurance going to cover, then?

Even though I support any effort to kill Trumpcare, the reasons why the Kochs are doing it, and the fact they are able to influence politicians with their money, so blatantly, like this is very sad.

Quote:
Washington (CNN)In a last-minute effort to sink the Republican health care bill, a powerful network of conservative donors said Wednesday it would create a new fund for Republican 2018 reelection races -- but they'll only open it up to GOPers who vote against the bill.

The advocacy groups helmed by Charles and David Koch have unveiled a new pool of money for advertisements, field programs and mailings that would exclude those who vote for the health care bill they oppose on Thursday. The effort, which they described as worth millions of dollars, is an explicit warning to on-the-fence Republicans from one of the most influential players in electoral politics not to cross them.

Trump is a total moron who has no idea what he's doing. He's going to get used a lot until the GOP is done with him, then they'll impeach.
