And this is why having kids is a poor idea. They'll get you killed from zombie hordes in covered forests. More trouble than they're worth!

Have they done anything to explain what's going on outside of the immediate Atlanta or rural Georgia areas?

Right now, I understand their need to give the kid time to heal and try their best to find the little girl but why don't they just stock up on fuel and supplies and drive to the next closest big town to see whats up?

The pregnancy angle coming into play now. Should be interesting.

No kidding. And there's some slim pickings in the zombie apocalypse, he should giving a self high-five for nailing the hottest chick in the group.

All the more reason to sign her long term, no? If it was me, I'd be looking to lock one up. Women may be scarce. Hot women moreso.

When is this show going to get good again? I mean it was a show built on heart-stopping suspense and action and now what? It thinks its some kind of real world drama or something? Without Frank Darabont this show sucks.

I love the show, but in the latest episode with the well zombie, the decision to use Glenn as live bait has to be the absolute worst decision to date for this show or well any other zombie outbreak epidemic depiction ever.

The zombie wasn't exactly the most agile creature and it's in very limited space, take your noose, make it a bit larger and start fishing for zombie. Maybe farm girl over there has used a lasso, you know growing up on the farm and all?

Okay fine, so your resolved to use live bait to get the zombie out of the well, you've made it this far already so who am I to argue? But I would suggest finding a squirrel, bird, cat, or any other animal that could be present on a farm next to the woods. Can't find anything and times limited? Well, I've always lived by the simply rule that if I'm going to be used as live bait and lowered into a confined space with a hungry zombie with no form of escape and no where to run resulting in certain agonizing death should anything falter, I'm at the very least going to tie the other end of the rope to a secure structure, maybe like the wind turbine right next to the well and not a rusty old pipe loosely bolted to some rotting wood flooring? That's just personal preference though.

Surviving a zombie apocalypse, just like hockey, is all about doing the little things right. Being extra cautious by avoiding possible contaminated water was an excellent decision, the execution this time was just a little bit off, also just the entire ####ing logic because it's a damn zombie. Remembering the zombie is a zombie is key here because that means it's been bit and has already likely bled into the water through one of it's many flesh wounds.

Oh well, Glenn got laid so all's well that ends well when dealing with well zombies.

The decision to use live bait, I am suspecting, was to get the zombie to raise his arms so they could get the noose around his torso. I don't think squirrels have the manual dexterity to rope zombies.

As for the rusty pipe...that's a problem in every show. They either pick the oldest rustiest pipe...the smallest weakest tree...or the loosest rock they can find to tie their rope to...then disaster strikes! I am just surprised there was no steam in that pipe.

Like I said before if everyone did their job there'd be no show. If Hershel had made sure he had a proper safe, covering for the well in the first place the walker never would have fallen in there.

How come we never see or hear a dog?

^^ they also talked about this on Talking Dead later on. They made the point (and I agree) that even if you get the zombie out without blood would you really want to drink the water? I mean it's been sitting in there for days and days making zombie soup in the hot Georgia summer. Should have shot the zombie and closed the well, Maggie even said they have 5 wells on the farm.

I thought attaching the rope to the truck would have been the easiest.

I would've put a bolt in his head, sent the skinny kid with the ball cap down to tie a rope around him, dragged him out, retrieved bolt. or chucked in a hand grenade.

I can't believe AMC re-up'd this show for another season after these 4 piss poor episodes. More happens in any single episode in the first season than has happened this whole season thus far.

Well, to be fair, the first season was on 6 episodes long. I believe this season is slated for 13 episodes.

I haven't read any of the comics, but I'm still really enjoying the show. I was away during the past three episodes and loved watching them all back to back.

This is why.

It may not be your thing, and that's cool, but plenty of people are watching.
