Fotze, try changing the number of messages your mail app keeps on the phone. Hard to say if that's the reason without knowing more, but it might have something to do with it.

The files on my ipod touch labelled "other" went from almost zero (less than a gig) to 3GB with the new iOS.

Anyone have any ideas why? Seems bizarre to me.

Wireless syncing is a major pain in the rear, it just flat out doesn't work on my iPad.

Since updating to iOS5, my ipad hasn't left my living room (bathroom), it worked the first time, and ever since iTunes consistantly can't find it when I try to sync.

I have to get up, walk over to it, bring it back, and plug it in.

What a pain. It's mid-2011 all over again.

This probably isn't the cause, but have you turned on Wifi sync on the iPad and on iTunes while it's plugged in? I do know there's been trouble getting some PC wireless cards to cooperate with what iTunes is trying to use them for, if it's a Windows machine.

My battery life is horrible. My data is being used at about 40 mb a day when I'm mostly on Wifi all day and rarely use it when not on Wifi.

Before I got this iphone I was using 150 MB a month. There is definitely a bug that's causing this and I hope they figure it out soon.

Got my 4S on Saturday and I'm getting great battery life and I use it quite a bit.

Location services don't really use much data...so I don't see how your DATA usage is going up so much... (they use a lot of battery though!)

turn off the system location services....it helped my battery life a lot...

i never connect to my wifi and i have not noticed any increase in data usage.

How much is the costing you guys for a 32 gig? I re'subbed for a 3 year term and they said I was eligible based on my plan for 3 yr pricing, but I'm hearing people are having $35 activation fee waived and getting rebates and stuff, any truth to that?

Probably covering the obvious here but I had the same issue at first. Re-start your computer. Make sure iTunes is open when you plug in your iPad. Not sure if it's a glitch or not as my iTunes has been running kinda funky lately but if iTunes is open on my computer when I plug my iPad into an outlet, it works every time.


While we are on the subject, I have gone through my entire iTunes library correcting song names and album names so I can get the album art working properly. Odd thing, 2 songs that I've downloaded from iTunes show up on my iPad as not having artwork unless you actually tap on the album to open it and then it's there. Any idea why?

I have been looking at the lifeproof. I am normally against these kinds of cases but apparently they don't add much bulk at all. Has anyone used one?

I still swear by Ghost Armor. Used it on all my iDevices with no breaks/scratches ever, and no added bulk.

True I do have a bunch of Iphone 4 protection I can still use. I just don't see how ghost armor protects against falls when the phone doesn't hit flat

the video is pretty crazy where the chick throughs it like 20 times and has no damage. Not with my phone but pretty convincing.
